I'm looking forward to it. Hell, with the way things are going, it may well be our last!

No minus figures Highbee??

6/10. At the moment I am 4/10 but I have allowed for the fact that I ALWAYS do this. When the fixtures are out, I'll be looking forward to things again.

But I am, and still will be, genuinely concerned that we might be fighting a relegation battle.

Another season closer to McCabe fucking off ;)

Enthusiasm? Nearly an all time low for me at the mo - will deffo be an all time low when Morgan is announced manager. But the beers good and so's the company in the Red Lion, so its not all bad...err, I think

UTB!

I'm finding myself quite enthusiastic about the pre-season tour to Scotland, after that lethargy knows no bounds for the new season.

Clutching at straws the last time I didn't get a season ticket United did get promotion.

I can't raise an ounce of enthusiasm at the minute with the comedy capers going on at The Lane. Each new rumour or latest name thrown into the mix, is genuinely negging me out.
The season ticket money is staying in my bank account until we appoint someone who I believe can grab hold of this rudderless shambles of a club and point it in the right direction.
What an absolute shitty mess McCabe and his merry men have made of things once again.

I'm looking forward to it, if all goes as planned I'll be back in the UK in August for a couple of years. I'm dreaming about a trip to Sheffield and some quality beer again.

For the first time in 25 years I will not be renewing my season ticket. I just can't summon up any enthusiasm for more disappointment and until McCabe leaves I don't think that will change. Its a decision that I've made that's tinged with a degree of sadness as SUFC has been a massive part of my life, but I've just had enough.

The club needs to do something quick to bring a bit of enthusiasm back. Getting so easily tonked by Yeovil has left everyone depressed. We thought dropping into the minor leagues was a temporary blip, but through a series of unfortunate events and a shocking lack of leadership, this looks like being a nasty long term situation. How long do you keep cutting your cloth to fit before you're left with nothing? It's a strategy for eventual extinction.

All 3 teams that have come down are strong enough to get back out of this division, Brentford will perform again, Preston will come good, MK will be there or thereabouts. And there will be a couple of teams who you don't expect to come good too (maybe Rovrum). We won't mount a serious challenge next year and we won't be involved in a relegation scrap either. Mid table all the way.
So as far as the pole goes, I've opted for a 4. I love the atmosphere of away days and beers with the lads.

On the plus side, apparently our loyal supporters won't have to travel quite as far to away games next season.

Looking further ahead, if we can aim for a place in the Conference Blue Square North division our supporters will have even less distance to travel.

You know it makes sense... :)

For the first time in 3 seasons , I could'nt give a fook , however when I get back from the hols , be just over a month to go , and things could have changed , the dream team of morgs and tufty wilder , will have got there feet under the table , signed solid cover in midfield , 2 very quick forwards, harry & long won't have to be sold {mr Mcabe } say's so and we'll be installed as fav's by the bookie's , my confidence is returning and we're [ is that the correct we're } going to go up as champs , yeah FFS get a grip man.

Fuck it, let's have a relegation battle. A bit of excitement would not go a miss. In fact, with me visiting most of the grounds in this division us getting relegated would not be all that bad. Down to the 4th division and build from there. You have go get worse before you get better n all that.

Can't even summon up enough enthusiasm to pick a number.

Yorkies near the top of the Championship and the Aussies on the way next month. Bigger things than football to concern me.
Get back to me end of July.

Spot on owd mucker. I enjoyed watching the Giro d'Italia than I did any point of last season. The Tour De France promises to be a good one, plus we have the Ashes. I am looking forward to watching other sporting spectacles much more than the Blades.

It's funny, usually I am missing the footy by this point. Last year it was ok with the Euro's, but this year I can honestly say I have not missed the footy at all. I couldn't even muster the nergy to watch the end of the Premiership, CL final etc and only caught brief highlights of exciting play off moments (Leicester missing the pen for example).

I went for 4 by the way. Living dar Sarth, my only new grounds will be Gilligham and Posh. Possibly Port Vale and Rotherham too, depending on finances, fixtures, ticket availability etc. There'll be days out to look forward to (the beer drinking and banter that is) in Bristol and Swindon too. Plus, even though I have done them already there is Orient and Brentford, plus the shitholes of Colchester, Milton Keynes, Crawley and Stevenage are all do-able. I will probably skip a few of those depressing places and may try to get to a few harder to reach places (Walsall, Shrewsbury, Carlisle) that I have not been to.

As for the actual league, well there is little to look forward to. Despite our shambolic current state of affairs, there will be some strong teams in the division next year (as BladeInThatcham points out). I think Peterborough will win it, but Bristol and Wolves will both be strong. Brentford will challenge again also and I doubt we will be any better than Preston, MK Dons, Swindon and Notts County. Even a team with a bit of memomentum like Rotherham or Gillingham might fare as well as us. I dread the day that hoofy Adams comes to the Lane and puts one over on us. Ale house Micky must be rubbing his hands about a 2nd chance of revenge.

6 for me

I was thinking what would really raise interest is if we took on Gary Megson as manager whod want to prove hes better than Jones and would whip up some of the fans who are losing interest, and would be at least compelled to go to the car park

Shit, sorry I thought the title said Euthanasia and it was about McCabe.

But while I'm here I voted Meh, but I've got the season ticket so maybe it's a meh+

With Robert Page fave with the bookies to get managers job, what's not to be enthusiastic about!! JESUS WEPT!!

We've had more favourites in the past few weeks than Mickey Rooney has had wives. The term has become meaningless with regards to our new manager.

Poor effort Brownie.

My enthusiasm for the coming summer (weather permitting) won't be sidetracked by mere mention of Compers or Dingers at this stage. We've still got 9 I'm happy to take them on with.
