New manager of Coventry (when we play them) will be....

They flatter to deceive. Yes they are having a good spell. I think they will end up mid table again. Where do you see them finishing?
They seem like a team that goes on runs, either very good or very bad ones. Whenever you think they are doomed, they win 5 in a row, get to a playoff spot and then lose 5 in a row to be back down the bottom again. Can’t see any reason to think anything over than a mid table position for them

I don't get why why they sacked Robbins without someone else in place to take over

There had been a fallout behind the scenes. Apparently he got rid of his assistant coach and replaced them with someone worse and it all started to go to shit.

Can't see a new manager taking our game now. If they appoint one today, the majority of the game prep will have already have been done, so the caretaker would be left to lead the game, surely?

Harry Wilson as well?
I was just about to add him in - he was really good at Championship level - they had a massive squad with some Championship stalwarts as well as adding those three (Wilson, Mount and Tomori) and we finished 15 points above them.

The only stat I’m concerned about is them demolishing Borough 0-3 after Borough played us of park. Beware banana skins.

They seem to be a very unpredictable team this season. Hot and cold doesn't come close as a description.

So you are right, we need to be fully prepared for a tough game.

I remember reading earlier in the season when they were towards the bottom the manager carried out a review during an international break. His conclusions were something along the lines of the stats all point towards they should have alot more points and that's what he expects will happen. I noticed despite losing alot they were in every game and scored a good few goals. My largely uninformed view on this is the current results are a reflection of their performances rather than a purple patch.

Boro down to ten after 22 mins, all goals came after that - bit of an anomaly

Strangely, Cov were arguably the better side before going down to 10, the game actually changed in Boro's favour for a while after the sending off where it took Cov time to re-adjust the game plan. The margin of victory could have been even larger had Bassette put away a chance when put clean on goal.

Coventry are everything that causes us problems, quick, tricky, pressurising and inventive.
If we do a Leeds or Middlesboro scaredy bum act we'll get tonked.

Get on the front foot and stay on it and we'll win, if not we'll lose.

Been reliably told that they're going back to the future.

Russell Slade and Roland Nilsson sharing managerial duties. Micky Adams DoF.

I’ve no idea and not seen them play, but they’ve churned out some good results so they must be doing something right. They were an anomaly amongst the other sides you mentioned by the fact that they’re a top half side currently in decent form

It’s probably my personal petty prejudice, but I hate us playing games against teams like Coventry, Millwall, Swansea, Luton and Stoke.
History might tell a different story, but I do dread away fixtures particularly agains teams who usually end up mid table at the end of the season.
When up against the likes of Leeds, Burnley, Boro, WBA and Sunderland, we know to expect a tough game, but the others always seem like potential banana skins to me?

Yep, im trying to think if someone like Pontus Jansson went there aswell. They also had Curtis Davies I think.

think its a nailed on draw this one and that wouldnt be a bad result for us

Sunderland away at Millwall later. That could be a draw too. If so, a draw at Cov would be fine for me. We aren't going to win every game.
