Just to give us something different to talk about....

I heard on Saturday that we have re-signed with Macron....has anyone else heard anything as we usually get a sneak peek around this time...?

Fuck Macron and their second rate kits. I'm not buying another United shirt until we use a proper company.

What happened to the collar? Did they run out of material? It looks godawful!
Yeah, I don't really like it either. these manufacturers seem to have the idea they need to come up with something unique, look at puma this season, half the shirts had a certain style. for example, Wednesday home shirt, Newcastle away, Watford all had the same pattern with the puma logo.
At least our was unique going back to a retro look. I hope our home shirts don't go back to generic bland rubbish that everyone has just in another colour.

" AFAS Software signed a new five-year contract, but likes it a step further. Every fan who has a season ticket, receives one brand new 13/14 home shirt for free." - Nice touch. We should do the same!

hmm that AZ collar may be ok if the red bit is black. not convinced though.

whats with football these days and all the weird shirts?
bring back the hibbitt/hobbit/hobbit whatever they hell they were called shirts. the brown and yellow ones were incredible!

I actually looked on the Club's website for this season's kit but there doesn't seem to be an adult sizes left.

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Good luck with that, most of the stock was sold out weeks ago but never replenished.

Another genius move by the retail part of SUFC.

TBF they probably learned their lesson of two years ago when hundreds of shirts were sold to Sports Direct. Given that SD then sold them on for £10 each you'd suspect that United made a significant loss on them.

The only issue with going with big names like Nike, Adidas etc is that we wouldn't get a kit specifically for us. Look at teams like Hartlepool who use nike. They basically have something from the nike team wear catalogue but with a hartlepool badge and sponsor on it.

Having said that theres some nice ones about and its easy to knock a few mock ups together.

I'd like it to be umbro to be honest but I bet we just stick with macron

Puma!!!!!! Are you alright?

Might as well get Megson in.

Ps. Umbro have gone under.

Bladesway says we're not allowed to talk about merchandise so we better stop

S6 Blade on a serious note. I think you'll find the macron kits aren't unique.

Our relegation home shirt is the same template as this seasons black away and last seasons Millwall shirts.

The home and 3rd shirts are exactly the same without the stripes.

All manufacturers do it. I guarantee next season Villa, West Ham, Us or Leeds will have that AZ alkmaar shirt template

Yeah true. would be nice to have something decent though. sick of having brands like macron, avec, patrick etc.

Ah put your teddies away and get back to bed. Mummy will be round to tuck you in soon enough. FWIW my 3 year old loves his Macron kit and it washes fine. So long as they always have a size 38 to 40 on the shelf then I will sleep easy in my bed.

Give me any of these over and above the current crap..

I thought Nike bought them out years ago

They did but this is the last season before Nike cherry-pick all the decent Umbro contracts: Manchester City (for you, Micalijo :D), England and the FA Cup matchballs will all be Nike from June.

I think the shell of Umbro has been sold to a VC company so it'll be interesting to see what they do next.

I dont see the problem with going with puma. its not like we've not had the same kit supplier as the grunters before

it makes the most sense from an economic point of view to go with Macron, they are shockingly made though...

This is just the typical "shovel shit at the fans, they'll pay for it and come back for more next year" attitude we've come to expect from the board.
