I would like to think this season's kits were chosen months ago - our owners are investors / businessmen first and foremost and they'll realise the importance of maximising shirt sales by getting them released before the summer holidays. The spanner in the works may be the sponsor, as until a few weeks ago we didn't know if we'd be parading in front of squillions of watchers in the biggest league in the world or in the tin-pot EFL
