Indeed. Mentioned it in another thread, and I know they are outliers, but Wrexham promoted out of the Conference with a £7m wage bill for the season. Five grand a week is 1/28th of that. If I was Wes and the club called me and offered me that I would likely laugh, block the phone number, and call my agent. Maybe not in that order.

Semantics I suppose. There's a bit of a difference between the club offering joke terms, and the club being in a position to offer Wes what he would want but choosing not to do so

Carlgren's been good this season but dropped some clangers last season. He's a good shot-stopper, a solid keeper but not an updrade on Wes imo. Certainly an upgrade on Grbic. Randers fans will be seriously pissed off if he is sold to us.
