feel exactly the same, 14 years with a Springer as a constant shadow, probably speaks more about me, but all those great memories fade away compared to that last day and leaving the vets alone, there isn't a week goes by that I don't check various rescue sites, but that last day still looms large.

We’d boarded our lad as we were in Florida
Got home and said to our lass somethings not right here
Next day wouldn’t go for a walk and struggled to get up off his bed
Rang the vet and said bring him up for 4.30
Our lass rang me in work said get here quick he’s going
Got their and we had to let him go , growth on his spleen
Sobbed my heart out
He must have waited for us to come back
Jesus almost crying now ffs

With apologies and respect to the SRA and the BBC and any other new wannabees. There is a new crew in town, can I introduce the Blades Pooch Crew, the BPC..

A prominent member seen here in the car park and on the away corner opposite The Cricketers looking for away crews is Bramall (yes that is his name).

He is ready to ‘run’ anyone, and as a modern crew is ready to welcome all other hounds, he however won’t tolerate bullying and has already ‘fucked off’ a pug who ‘kidney punched’ a guide dog on a night out. Not the BPC scene….

We do expect you to be a bit ‘tasty’ when let off the leash, but want to be ‘under the radar’ so no obvious pit bull snarling types really.

To the mustard throwing ‘wantsomes’ I have one message, stop it and if you want to see real mess wait until you can see what I leave behind…

My rescue from Turkey. He was a young street dog that we fell in love with whilst on holiday 14 years ago. Met him outside a restaurant on our second day, and decided there and then that we couldn’t leave him behind. Spent the remainder of the two weeks sorting out his jabs, flight and quarantine.

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He’s still going strong and is the perfect family dog. Taking him for a walk on the local beach in an hour, after I’ve had my Sunday breakfast.

Sorry for your loss, mate. I really do feel your pain. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy last March. The day before my birthday. I still expect him to greet me everytime we return to the house. Miss him like crazy.
