New Club Website

Noticed the other day the new look club site. Have to say its a bit 'busy' to say the least.

What has really stood out for me is how poor the content is..... and I'm wondering who is responsible for updating it? Is it the club? or the company who provide the site, along with most of the other league clubs' sites?

I'm assuming it's the club as I thought I'd check out if our neighbours at Swillsborough had the same content and missing info as ours has.

I've checked a few areas of both sites, which are visually the same, and have to say the SWFC site has all the correct info and the links go through to the correct pages. Ours on he other hand has no contact info for the ticket office or any contact numbers for the club at all as far as I can see!!!! And numerous links that don't work and just take you back to the homepage!!!

Come on United someone needs to pull their finger out and sort things like this out. It's not rocket science to realise if your bringing in a new site design you need to have EVERYTHING in there and working BEFORE making it public.

It's awful. Takes an age to load and has a heap of usability issues. Makes you wonder if it was even tested.

Using Safari, find an extension called 'Click to Flash'.

Doesn't look too bad on the iPad, a bit busy perhaps. It does seem 50/50 whether a page loads correctly or not though.

That's because the article no longer exists, I'd assume PremiumTV cache certain content in order to improve loading times and reduce bandwidth, therefore it'll remain until the cache updates.

Looks like us and Wednesday have gone away from the standard league design. I've just looked at Charlton's, Bristol City's, West Brom's and they all still have the old style site.

Unless us and Wednesday are just the first to get the new look?

Barnsley's already updated a week or so ago. I think it's probably why willo's considering a move up there. They're clearly showing more ambition.
