Miles ahead of the likes of Marcus Williams & Jordan Stewart.
I liked him - the main reason being he isn't Tony McMahon!

"Old Grey Whistle Test" could probably sum up a good percentage of our players from around 1980 onwards!

Was a real upgrade on what we had at lwb at that time.

McMahon had a decent shot but in open play was a loose cannon who was always on the brink of being sent off.

Bob was adequate defensively and weighed in with a few crosses, assists and the odd goal

Clough. He signed on loan in the January of our run to the FA Cup Semi Final then permanently that summer.
