Yes and yes (to an extent) but all the "lets forget the past" bit is where it all goes awry. Oddly enough in my estimation at least the memories of the past and Kevin McCabes big words and small delivery are once more back to haunt us. As you should know, support comes in many different guises. I support Sheffield United in spite of the fact I cannot support people like McCabe because I question his abilities. I support the managers who have gone before, these supposedly useless people whom you have fired some pretty poisonous arrows at. I believe that while some of the managers weren't what we would have wanted them to be, they aren't to blame for our plight as much as the man who hires and fires these hapless souls.

We appoint Senior Execs on fat salaries (another bean counter appointed this week) but its like getting blood out of a stone getting decent new players in. This isn't unique to Sheffield United by the way, most big companies employ a raft of useless tossers at the top who point out to those below what they are doing wrong, in spite of not having a clue what they are actually doing. They are generally Financially based and any argument based on sound logic is clobbered out of the ball park on the back of "it doesn't stack up financially". You'll get the drift I don't have a lot of time for these people around football clubs. Let bankers stick to being bankers (sp) and football people should stick to running football.
