Welcome Chris Wilder, a Blade who as a player went to away games with his mates.

Wife and I went to Wrexham away in the Capital/League Cup so many years ago, just to get the programme. Wilder was there with his mates, not available to play but supporting, how weird is that when we look at modern day footballers? Wilder was a fan, wow. Even in those day we were gobsmacked,

Think about it fellow football fans , how many modern players would bother to even watch their colleagues play? How many would travel to support their team? We are even grateful when they turn up at Bramall Lane to watch our team!!

I reckon we have a chance in this modern world. We are the club with heart and soul. We have a bloke now in charge who knows his football, is quite prepared to go through life without compromising himself, even prostituting himself, he tells it as it is, a Blade who believes, knows his time has come after a full apprenticeship. We are ready. he is ready, let's do it!!

I do hope it works out, he loves this club like the rest of us and hopefully can drive some passion into this team.

Not putting anyone off. What is a reasonable number of threads per topic?

I can see why so many other forums make sure they only have 1 thread per subject, it's much easier to read.

Having so many threads per topic is confusing and you often miss good bits of debate because discussions are all spread out in to the numerous different threads.

I've no issue with people repeating the same point.

It's an inevitable on a forum, people will repeat their views.

The difference is it gets repeated on existing threads and those people don't create more threads about things there's already lots of threads about.

As long as he's brining up something unique, I think its fine to create a new post, ill be honest I'm not a fan browsing though pages and pages of rabble between two people. I normally miss posts that add something. If he posted this on another thread id likely miss it as it will be flooded out with rabble.

If they want to create a thread on a subject there is already a thread about, I just think it might be best to encorage them to post it in the existing thread(s) as opposed to creating a new one?
