is anyone else really nervous as hell now, i'm always a little nervous come derby day, but for some reason this one more than ever, maybe its the time since the last one, but i think mainly its all the crap spouting from s6, never before have they been so deluded about our squad, all i have read is league 1 cloggers, please boys turn up tomorrow, show them exactly what you're about, how good you are, how good a bunch of footballers you are, wear the shirt with pride as you have done for the last season and a bit, and give us a day to remember

Of course it's not just you!

We are all (and I include Pigs too) scared of a freak thrashing and humiliation.

I am looking forward to it and not looking forward to it in equal measure.

I'm bricking it to be honest, I haven't wanted to win a game this much in a long fucking time

I've just stuck a fiver on us to win 2-1 an all

Who got pasted by League one Shrewsbury in the FA Cup in 2016, a matter of about 8 weeks after we got pasted by Shrewsbury at the Lane?

call me stupid but i'm failing to see wtf that has to do with me shitting myself

I've got a day at work and I'll leave at around 1445 (my time) to be home for the match. If it goes to shit I'll be in the swimming pool with the kids before the end of the game, I refuse to watch them fuckers gloat.

No pressure on us to win. No doubt we'll turn up. No nerves from me.

I am always nervous when watching the Blades, I almost wonder whether it's bad for my health - I am aware that I have a raised heart rate and get sweaty palms during a game, and that's just a normal game. I don't actually like derby games when they're happening.

Been such a long wait so naturally more nervous than ever, good thing we're back at the lane 3 days later to add another 3 points vs Wolves before heading to Forest saturday. Nervous yes, but this is what we've looked forward to during are years in the league one desert walk.

I’m probably the least nervous I’ve been for a derby since 1979.

The reasons are:

1: We are underdogs, so there’s less pressure. All the pressure is on Carlos to not only win but perform well.
2: We’re a better team than most people think and well capable of playing some great football to make us proud. Unlike previous seasons I’m really confident we’ll turn up, give a good account of ourselves playing positive attacking quality football.
3: Wilder has a 100% track record in pressure games. Home to Scunthorpe and Bolton were we superb and showed no sign of nerves in such big matches against our promotion rivals.

And finally

I’m getting a bit fed up of being optimistic all the time. It’s just not United ha ha.
When Wilders team are given a test, they seem to pass it, every time.
With Wilder at the helm it’s easy to get carried away that him and the team are capable of anything.
So even if we lose, at least it will bring us down to earth and offer a greater realism towards the new season.
Also at the end of the day we are well clear of relegation, so look very comfortable to survive.

Surprised in not more nervous. We will turn up and battle the scoreline in our favour would be a bonus. Not like Robson when we might as well have not played

Nervous, excited, shitting it, only thought on my mind right now, no chance of a good sleep, hate them with a real passion, we owe them one, need to shut the massive up...do I trust Wilder, too fuckin right I do, they will do us proud that I have no doubt, I love and hate this fixture

I'm strangely ok about it, less nervous than normal. I think that's because we are better than we think (especially defensively), and they are not friggin Man City. If we have Sharp/Donaldson fit then i reckon we stand a good chance of getting 3 points.

I dreamed three weeks ago that we scored early and hung on to a 1-0.........

As McCabe said in today's interview in the Times, we're a 'Heart attack club", too bloody right.
