He should never be allowed back in the club again until he at least learns to call us Sheffield United not just 'Sheffield'.

he landed the job just for now.

Always liked Warnock, I'd be happy to see him back. Not sure how many would.

I certainly wouldn't. His time has been and gone. Some of you are incapable of thinking beyond ex-players and former managers. It's bizarre, it really is. It's only a matter of time before we get calls for Brian Deane, the former semi-pro, non-league, reserve goalie and even Dinosaur Dave.

It's no wonder I'm driven to despair.

How is Deano getting on in his new management role?

Pretty well by the sounds of it - his team made a decent start to the season.

Some of the seasons in Warnock's time here are my favourite as a fan, and I would have like to see him stay on. But that time has passed - too much bad blood between him and McCabe, and it would be wholly divisive in the same way Wilson was when he was appointed. I also don't think he'd take it if offered tbh.

Warnock would be the guy that gets them up this year - he could then stick two fingers up to both McCabe and the fans and say 'I told you so!'
Will it happen - No Morgan's the man - perhaps he may do a Flitcroft!
Whatever happens Wilson had to go - no balls, no backbone , no idea!!

It depends on what the fans want. If they (you) want promotion this season, then they need to swallow their pride but if they 8you) are happy with playing in league 1 again next season then fine, lets stick with Morgan.

You can't on one hand complain about not getting promotion and then complain /turn down the man you could / has the best chance to take us up.

So what do you want, play in league next season or go up?

Just a idea few fans get down to ground and sing for Warnock or this club will end up making a bad decision.

Sing for Warnock? I'm not over chuffed the magic 8 ball thew up Morgan but this constant desire of Blades fans to always step back in time is madness. Not because its Warnock but any manager from our past returning is a bad shout. Time to look firward, something some of our lot seem incapable of doing.

Alex Ferguson has never got us promoted. Would we not have him?

This is the umpteenth time i have seen people comparing the greatest club manager in recent times with an alsoran. Will you lot get over yourselves. Worship at the alter of warnock if you must but please keep it sane.

Let's get metal Micky back with Dave on the phones. It cant be as bad as last time.

he did say he wanted a break down in Cornwall so its big a decision for him.

Don't get it, is he working for the AA now then, or is it his tractor playing up?

Perhaps they're delaying his appointment in order to allow him to grow some eyebrows, for the press conference. I don't think his 'Pantomime Dame' look would go down well in S2?

I can imagine the call now.

"Hello Neil?"
"Yes, who is it?"
"Remember me? Its Kevin"
Click, buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bladesway, you of all people should know that Warnock would never hang up in that situation. He Has One More Challenge Left In Him!

Has anything been said about who Morgan's no 2 will be? Wouldn't be surprised if Morgsasked his old boss to help him out until the end of the season.

he would be a good appointment till the end of the season.
After then? its a no from me.

What K G said. Give us time to size up the options.

Read a recent interview with Warnock in which he clearly stated he did NOT want to manage again. However, he DID state that he thought their was a definite gap to be filled between the manager and chairman, and that he would be very interested in taking up such a roll. I'm kind of guessing he's alluding to a kind of director of football roll. Would that work for us? Warnock overseeing the football side of things, with a younger manger, morgs maybe or whover in place?

Go on then Pinchy. Discounting ex managers and players. Lets hear your gem of a suggestion.

So long as morgs doesnt start talking like Kieth Hill ooooops I mean Flitcroft, that would be great.

For the hard of memory.

Neil Warnock said he couldn't concentrate on getting the team right for the Wigan game in the Premiership when we needed a draw to survive because he was upset because he had not been offered in a contract, and that is well documented. He says it himself in his book.

That is the one over-riding reason why I would never want that obnoxious, self centred man near my club again

I've often wondered if this is something peculiar to Blades fans or all football fans do it. The only person worth considering with a Blades link, assuming Morgan is a stop-gap appointment would be McCall.

Now that could be a very good McCall. If he'd come. Warnock till end of, then McAll.
