what a cock sounds as though he is trying to end mr beans career to me FUCK OFF WARNOCK

Well saying that Sean swore at his kids is hardly going to do Sean favours though ? Even if its true or not.

Hardly career ending stuff but is still something you could do without the world knowing.

But on the same hand it is something he shouldn't be doing.

It's like saying, if a footballer rapes a woman and she reports him for it, it's not going to do the footballer any favours. But he doesn't want the world to know so it's all good.

In effect.

Never said it was something he should be doing.

Just said its something Sean Bean could do without world knowing especially if it may not even be true.

Damn, no bite? haha

Anyways, Warnock wouldn't be punlishing it if it wasn't true.

I'm not sticking up for Bean, but Warnock shouldn't have had his wife and kids there. I don't take my missus to my work.

Hey, there's Robbie taking up an oppositional stance to one of my posts - not something you see very often! I get the idea that if I posted 'white' you'd post 'black'.

Go on then, O Fount of Knowledge, please tell me why it's acceptable for Warnock to take his wife and children to his place of work.

I think Warnock sometimes forgot that he was there to do a job, personally.

You never know :D

Are you telling me telling me though if you was United manager you wouldn't invite any of your family along?

It's not a regular job, I wouldn't take any family to my current job, but if I was in charge of United then I would. This is why they are given courtesy tickets.

Maybe to the match. I wouldn't hide behind them in the office after ensuring our relegation, though. It was pretty obvious that words were going to be said to him, probably words that his family wouldn't want to hear (although I'm not condoning the foul mouthed tirade - even though Warnock's not averse to using filthy language when he wants to), and taking his family in there smacks of cowardice.

I must remember to take my family in to work if I get reprimanded so I can complain about it afterwards.

completely correct, i couldnt agree more, however just because they are given tickets that doesnt mean that they are given free access to the whole ground. At the end of the day the managers office is just that nothing more and not a meeting room for the managers family.

the seperation should be there all the time. Its the same with the dressing room for the players, you wouldnt expect all the lads WAGS and kids going in there would you. The family wait in the suite for all the staff to arrive post match.

Im with you on this one Matt. Although i can see robbies point too.

One thing that has fucked me off though is the quote in the sun where warnock says he doesnt even know why Sean is on the board of directors. ITS SIMPLE NEIL....................HE'S RED AND WHITE THROUGH AND THROUGH AND (UNLIKE MOST OF THE FANS) CAN AFFORD TO PUT MONEY INTO THE CLUB AND SO HE DOES JUST THAT AND HE GETS A DIRECTORSHIP FOR IT.

You haven't read the correct outake I presume.....

So I will show you what you are refering to and see if you have a different opinion then.

He recalled: “I got back to my office and my best mate, Paul Evans, was waiting for me. My wife Sharon, and the kids Amy and William were there, too.

“Sharon had been crying and the kids knew why she was so upset. It wasn’t just the football. Not just because of the result.

“Twenty minutes or so after the game had ended, Sharon and William were sitting in my office when the film actor, Sean Bean, who is a Sheffield United board director, burst in with his girlfriend.

“He was obviously the worse for wear. He wanted to know where I was. Sharon told him I was doing a Press conference and I’d be back soon.

“So Sean Bean started swearing at her and my five-year-old son. ‘It’s your f****** husband that got us relegated,’ he said, pointing at her. ‘He’s a f****** w*****’.

That did seem to be fairly obvious to me as well!

To be fair, her kids must have heard worse from me a few rows down ;)

No, my opinion remains the same.

As pointed out by MAQ, being related to the manager doesn't give his family carte blanche to wander the ground as they see fit. There are plenty of places he could have asked them to wait, or he could have foreseen that there was a high likelihood that he'd be having unpleasant conversations with people after the match (and I don't mean people slagging him off, I mean serious conversations about why we went down and what his part in our relegation was) and asked them to go home, so that he could get on with his job.

Asking them to wait in a place where directors were naturally going to want to speak to him was either an act of cowardice as he was hoping that nothing would be said with them present, or an act of bad fatherhood as he didn't consider what may happen to his family.

I do like Warnock, and feel that he's done an awful lot for our club, but I fear that he's now tarnishing the reputation of the club he purportedly supports, and all for what? Money and notoriety. I'm massively disappointed in him.

A point much better put across, very appreciated.

No they shouldn't be given free access of the stadium, but I think there would have been a fair bit of tension around and perhaps Warnock wanted to see his family out of the way.

What a drunk Sean Bean was doing there is another mystery though.

I don't see how it can be classed as Cowardice, as they was waiting for him whilst he was doing a press conference.

Agreed on this, but at least he has something worthwhile to read.

the other point that neil has to remember is that after that day there were a number (quite alot i would think) of blades that would have liked a few words with him, its just that Bean Does have access to the stadium and the rest of us cant get anywhere near him (Neil that is)

You cant excuse Beans actions, if he did that in front of my daughter then i would have floored him there and then, director or not, but i think that we were all a little highly strung that day

Warnock's already done what he set out to do.......got you lot wound up!

You just need to buy the book and he'll be well pleased!

:D:D:D

I may steal a copy i dont think id want to pay for his book.

By the looks of it i may aswell just buy a copy of the sun instead.

Just got caught up with this. I just find it interesting that this book got turned out so fast after his career ended.

Since we will assume it wasn't cranked out in 2 months it seems conveint that the spiciest tidbits all happened at the end of the book.

I only know how torn apart I was that day and can honestly say I was more than willing to take a chunk of flesh out of Warnock's behind.

Now I can only imagine how you all felt as lifelong blades Mr. Bean included. He however had one thing we did not...access. Okay, maybe he could have toned it down in front of the kid but talk about a gut wrenching day. Even Neil himself put it on par with the death of his mother. So reactions are expected to be extreme.

Whether this happened or not I am pretty sure it is being used now soley to sell books. For which case If I read I will be checking it out at the library.

Todays extra............

NEIL WARNOCK will never forget the final day of last season when his Sheffield United team lost at home to Wigan and, against all the odds, were relegated from the Premiership.
Nor will he forget the part played in the day’s incredible events by Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Here, in day two of our exclusive serialisation of Warnock’s sensational new book, he reveals his true feelings about the man he used to idolise.

The TV was on in the dressing room. I was not watching but suddenly became aware of the lads looking shocked.

“F****** hell,” said Andy Leaning, the goalkeeping coach. “No Ferdinand, no Vidic, no Scholes, no Giggs, no Ronaldo. I thought Ferguson was going to play his strongest team.”

It also tells you of the time Devlin splatted Bent's nose too today :D
