One last hurrah at the Tarn?

Another kit for William?

Best bunch of lads he's had?

Best fans he's worked for? 😁

I've got a ticket, mainly because another blade bought one and wanted someone to go with! That's not to say I'm not looking forward to it. He is a character, a one off and he was a very good manager for United. It all changed though for me when he went for the Wednesday job, he can laugh and joke about it but that showed a lot about his true support for United not being as genuine as he made out. Note in comparison how Wilder has already ruled out managing Wednesday in any circumstances.

That all being said, I'm sure it will be a good night, he's ideally suited to being on a stage talking about himself! 🤣

Is it actually true he went for the job at The Sty? I hadn’t heard that and I’d be really disappointed if so.

He admitted it on an interview with football heaven ( or whatever name it goes by in summer) a few week back as I was listening to it
It was Mandrake, who after having a interview with him and asking around the death trap heard how it would go down on the dark side , talked to him again and said let’s reconsider
But he was almost good to go for Dum pigs 🐷

What a tosspot.

Why? That's such a Warnock thing to do.

1. He loves being the pantomime villain.
2. He loves proving people wrong.

Ideal against the odds scenario where ability alone, he'd be in charge of a decent sized club.

It would have been win-win. Grudging respect from them if he did well. Blame the fact his United connections meant he wasn't ever accepted. Pockets lots of cash either way.

It would have been a very Warnock move!

Oh yes he is

Personally like the chap, had some great memories from his time here and no different to that other I'm the biggest blade manager we had.

It's management, they can't tie themselves to one club and not big up the other clubs they manage, part and parcel of the game.

As a man he would never be a mate you don't always need that as a club manager of a team you support. He always had passion and there were some classic memories along the way, will give him that.

I thought that would be a step too far for him, egotistical as we know he is. I’m much less of a fan after learning that.

what a great Night that was. very enjoyable. & Kozzy_is_my_Dad your dad its incredible he hasnt aged a day. looks like he could still play RB tomorrow

for people that were there am i putting 2+2 = 5. in thinking it was he was suggesting wilder that stitched warnock up & who knew how good a poet he was
I thought it was interesting that his time at Middlesbrough was glossed over. Clearly some bitterness there although not sure if that is against Wilder or Gibson. A good night, thou

Fantastic night loved it what a great servant to football Neil has been what a wonderful turnout he got tonight. What was the weird thing for me tho was how many Wednesday fans were there I spoke to at least 10 and not 1 had a bad word to say about him so well done Wednesday fans.

I would have thought it was Gibson, how would Wilder stick him up, maybe by approaching Gibson to say he'd take over? It was really good night tonight, pleased I went. Was good to see Kozluk, Brown, Asaba, Tongue and Morgs too. Warnock is very funny in fairness!

Pleased to say I didn't speak to any! 😉😆

It was brilliant, could have gone on for hours. Marginally annoyed by a very animated millers fan sat next to us (you probably heard him) and his mates continually getting up for the bar/bogs, just like being at the lane.

Made all the better though in the second half where a nice member of staff dragged me and the Mrs off to the front row where there were 2 free seats right in the middle.

Old Neil was very tearful at the end. Loved it

it has happened recently you would assume with how managers are sacked & then another manager takes over the same day. which may have happened as warnock left middlesborough saturday evening & wilder was hired sunday morning.

whereas gibson probally offered him the job, he doesnt like any manager accepting a job that wasnt vacant at the time
