I would be happy if I never had to see another Neil Collins blog entry for the rest of my life. I'm glad he's found a hobby, I just wish he'd focus on United less.

He seems to talk with pride and fondness (or at least in the posts I've read he has) about his time at United, and frankly, I don't think he deserves to: he was one of the most prominent members of arguably our worst side ever - what has he got to be proud about? I'd be embarrassed.

It may seem harsh to some, but after seeing how he reacted to players around him making mistakes, and his feigned passion, I don't feel guilty at all.

He's just one in a very, very long list of mediocre players who have represented us in the L1 era.

Yes it's harsh, always gave his best IMO

I would have "given my best" for £5k a week...

Besides, for a player who had just spend 5+ years in the championship his "best" looked woefully short of the required (League 1) standard.

In short, if that was his best: his career was miraculous.

He was the best defensive header of the ball after Morgan. Bit dodgy at times with passing but a decent centre half IMO.
