I was appalled today at the morons who chanted "De, de, de, de f*cking useless" at Walker and Reid. Most of these idiots seemed to be in the section of fans in the Grove Stand. Stooping to new lows I'm afraid - bad enough booing your own players - Walker absurdly was booed a few times today when he received the ball.

I've been supporting the Blades since 1959 and I have never been so ashamed of our own fans.

You can slag most of them off all you want but one thing is true.

They won't be able to read this until tomorrow morning as it is now way past their bedtime.

Brownie - the ones around me doing it were in the 30 - 45 age bracket even wishing Blacky was dead and wanting Hendo sent off so he'd not be able to play for 3 games !!!

True Blades - I think not.

Walker was slated for 'not wanting to be here' yesterday by some older folk around me.

We don't know the circumstances surrounding his departure. I thought it was general consensus that the board snatched their hands of and not that Walker wanted out.

from what iv heard through friends who know walker he wasnt to happy with been sold and he wanted to stay again to me it sounds like mroe spin from the great blackwell and mccabe show trying to make it sound like everyones a money grabber apart from the two main ones at our club, and i dont no whether it was jsut me but i thought walker looked ok on the right wing had a few good runs and in the first 30 mins had the left back in his pocket it, it all went tits when him n little decided to swap sides and then he ended back at right back.

From what I heard from someone close to both of the lads was that it was Walker that pretty much sealed the moves...

Walker was off like a shot when he'd had his head turned, with Kyle N more apprehensive.

This was always the danger when Walker came back. When things are going well, fine, but as soon as he either has a bad couple of games or the team are struggling, he'll get accused of not having giving 100%, not caring etc etc

He seems to have been the only bright spark over the last few games which doesn't say much for the rest does it.
