So I recon bare bones is 3.... left wing/striker aka Diaz, centre mid and a centre back.

Ideally though we need 2 CBs as let's just Robbo and Anel between them arnt shy of a card or the treatment rook for the later. 2 Mids one defensive one attacking, out and out winger and a striker.

How many do you think we will get in, in Jan and who.......

Cooper is top class, but there's not much behind him. I don't rate Davies, and Faxon (?) is only a young lad.

If Cooper gets injured, or sent off, then we might struggle.

Davies is a perfectly adequate back up.

Disagree - Davies is nowhere near good enough should Cooper be out for any length of time. So much so, that I'd expect him to cost the club promotion if he played more than the odd game.

FYI dont know if this will be a target for our scouting team but I've just talking to my Chelsea supporting mate ( his lads in the academy) he's gleaned from talking to the guys there , they're apparently having to loose up to 20 youngsters 16-18 year old due to ffp
He was saying some of them are on up to 10k per week ffs

Maybe in the summer. Wilder said recently that he wants to get first-team experience into the squad this window (not "old" players, just ones who have played a decent chunk at senior level).

I’d imagine that’s one for the academy recruitment team. We’re normally very active recruiting youngsters who are surplus at the big London academies. Peck, Lankshear, Sasnaukas and Blaize in recent years and I’m sure there’s some I’m forgetting.

I expect we’ll be all over that if any are decent players and open to moving away from London. At this point with the sheer amount of academy players who’ve launched their careers here in recent years we must be an attractive proposition.
