Neasden tube

We are taking the car and parking at the tesco off north circular, is anyone taking the tube into neasden and drinking around there?

It's a shithole. Park there at your peril and definitely don't drink there!

You'll get stuck with north circular traffic and would be a lot better off parking somewhere north of wembley to be honest

Edgeware ain't a bad choice, I know its away from Wembley but you can park up at the last stop on the Northern Line, go about 7 stops to Camden Town and have some real atmosphere in the many boozers starting by walking 5 minutes up to Camden Lock, get in the Ice Wharfe Wetherspoons at Camden Lock then walking down Camden High Street back to the tube to The Worlds End and the Camden Eye, and many pubs in-between, real old Londinium.
Then 5 minutes back to Kings Cross and a 29 minute tube journey on Metropolitan Line to Wemberlee.

I was thinking of paying £30 (parking) and driving all the way. Not sure if this is a good or bad idea?

Last time I parked in Watford, and caught the tube. Not a terrible solution, but probably not the best.

If you don't get away quickly (and I wouldn't expect to), then be ready for spending a good few hours getting back to the M1.

We parked just outside the official Wembley car parks in 09 & 12, carpet shop I think? We were back on M1 within minutes, having said that we didn't hang around to applaud the victors....

A couple on our mini bus waited around watching Burnley for a little bit... Meaning others (and the second mini bus in our party) were back in Sheffield before we'd even got to the M1.

Heard a few grumbles from those in the official car parks too.

I was getting a KFC at Leicester Forest after Burnley whilst talking to mates still sat in the car park at Wembley. Think the Britains Got Talent final at Wembley Arena didn't help...
