How would Blades feel about him being on? We have a dialogue with him but I'm not sure if his off the field 'issues' would be a problem for some, even though we'd obviously just talk about football, specifically United.

To me Hal, he's obviously had some terrible circumstances but you are a football related show. He was well liked as a player for Sheffield United and that is what you ask him about. He didn't have any troubles whilst with us.

If you interviewed Charlie Hatfield, you could speak about his career without touching upon all his other issues like prison and Illness. I suppose it depends how you want to place yourself. You don't have to compete with Martin Bashir.

I think most of the United fans would be smart enough to know that people will bot agree to be interviewed if your questioning gets too personal. Those that don't get it never will. You know the ones, the fans that want Rob Statan to give Darren Moore an incredibly rough ride and then also expect him to be available to be interviewed again in a couple of days!
