Other clubs have operated with ongoing debts. If we deprioritise our playing capability we will be fucking sorry for it. We did that during the McCabe years. We bought fucking football pitches when our backline contained dross like Jay McEveley and Neil Collins and sold players like Harry Maguire, David Brooks and Jamie Murphy buying fuck all to replace them.

Let's never forget the McCabe years. Purposefully retarding your football club's ambitions is a fucking criminal offence. Football is a game of gamble and chance and although we gambled with Wilder's daft arsed acquisitions, we can learn from our past and move on as a big city club.
