Bring him in. I reckon he could do a job at right wing back. He's got pace, tricky and can cut in on his left foot

Clearly we needed some pace at right wing back or an attack minded player and surely it could work. I'm sure that Thomas is predominantly a right midfielder

I thought he was Left midfield myself but I agree with bringing him in. He's been fantastic from what I've seen of him, and he's been playing well in the under 23 games I think. Good pacey attack minded player, would be great when we get a bit stuck in the corners like we do sometimes.

Think Thomas is a winger not a wingback.

Don’t think he can defend for toffee.
Also when I’ve seen him he’s got a bit of David Brooks about him.
He’s tries things and runs/ dribbles at defences.

When it works it’s great but he’s prone to losing possession.

Just like every footballer on the planet, then. It’s when they stop trying things that we should worry

H's not that fast sadly what I have seen of him in games (friendlies/u23's etc) and is way off standard required for Championship. That is not to knock him. He needs a spell on loan I feel.

At the moment, David Brooks can't get a start in our team. So I think Thomas is way down the pecking order isn't he? It's going to need a change of approach from Wilder and Knill before we see Brooks or Thomas getting a start. At the present time, we play without pace. It's not considered important. We prefer a slow, methodical, neat little passing game, where we work our way slowly down the pitch and end up somewhere near the corner flag or around the edge of the box, looking for the absolutely perfect killer pass into the box. We don't do ripping teams apart with barnstorming runs from the half-way line or deeper. Don't get me wrong, I love the football we play mostly, it's the best I've seen for years - but I do think we need to mix it up a bit more and get some bloody pace in that team, especially up front. Almost 70% possession yesterday v Brum - and just 2 shots on target - same as them! Brooks and Carruthers both added a bit of zip to that team when they came on yesterday and it's about time one or both of them got a start.
