I agree, also Kevin Drinkell and Matt Le Tissier. I think Gary Lineker played against us 6 or 7 times but never scored!

Ellington couldn't even get into Scunthorpe's team last season. My Scunny supporting mate said he was terrible as well. Maybe about 7 years ago if we were getting him and Jason Roberts, but not now, thanks.

Totally agree, if we put Steven Gerrard in our team he wouldn't make much difference. He would just plod along waiting to retire. Obviously we wouldn't be signing him anyway, which is the main point. Any old duffers who sign for us are basically just on their last legs after a lazy pay day. Otherwise they would be signing for a far better team than us. We need players who want it, not players that have already had it. So to speak.
