Billy is the only reliable goal scorer we've got at the moment. That's not ideal.

We need to find another striker that can take some of the load. Maybe he's already at the club? We won't know till we give him a good go.

Is Michael Browns replacement still at the club?

BILLY SHARP, WE'VE GOT BILLY SHARP.

Just been thinking, on target for 25-30 goals (aka Ched) this season but it's simply not good enough though. We should drop him and give some other fecker a chance.

Come on admit it, if he'd not scored today ya would have wouldn't you ya plumbs??

I don't know about them Dam sons of mine, but my wife Victoria and I are certainly not plums.

As to Billy Sharp - well...if he's scoring he's fantastic, if he's not - he's crap. That's roughly how it works I suppose. Except, that's not very logical really. I think he's had as many poor games, where he's contributed bugger all to the team, as he's had good games. But you can't deny his goal scoring record - God knows where we would be without him, but it wouldn't be 2nd in the table I doubt.

Having said all that though - he wouldn't have had so much game time if I'd been the manager. I think I would have subbed him more often when he's been ineffectual. But that's why I'm not a football manager I suppose, and Chris Wilder is.

The main thing I'd like to see happen to Billy Sharp is for us to get another striker to play alongside him. That would be the best thing for him and the club. And we've not found that person yet.

I'm guessing this was a 10-pinter post?

People have short memories (or weren't around). King Keef used to get grief when he didn't score because of his work rate and unwillingness to "get stuck in". Regardless of what anyone on here thinks, he will play every game if he's fit enough.
