Still plenty of games to go for our strikeforce to show just how good they are, deffo worth that close to 40 million put into strenghtening the striking options last summer. Don't agree? Reyt. That's because you're a plastic only interested in PL. Is this really how I/we should take it?

Is this in code?

If it is, the sparrow calls at midnight, comrade. 😉

I've read that five times and still don't understand any of it.

Well...some might say...yes you’ve guess it....you know what I mean....some say good....some say bad....it’s all opinions guv.
At least I’ve said my peace....no offence meant...but it’s only our 4th away game.

Is that any clearer?

Sure, mate.

People who are/have been concerned about our striking options, and have voiced concerns concerning spending some 40 million quid on what we now see as the end product of it, are simply just not 'plastics' or 'wrist-slashers'.

Fair point.
It’s ironic that we’ve shown some ambition over the Summer and spent big on several players...especially strikers
But very few of the new players seem any better than what we had.

The big positive though is that all our new players are very young....so are likely to develop and improve.
Think it’s reasonable to have concerns about McBurnie and Robinson but it’s the team that’s more important
And we’re sitting in a decent position looking comfortable at this level both home and away.
Currently we can afford to be patient.

We also accept ‘bellends’ pal although that may have died out in Siberia. 😂

Do you live in Siberia? And are you expecting a particularly harsh winter? Here’s hoping

You suggesting that I'm a bellend or whatever, I really don't care. I care about as to how the Blades do, and if I wasn't concerned, I wouldn't say anything at all on this board/boards like this. 'A New Member', I've been supporting the Blades since the early 1990's based here in Siberia, and have been following Bladesmad and this board for years. It's only been the hecking stupidity, right now at display here as well, why I've chosen to not to comment before. I ant McBurnie and the others to do good, but as I support the club, I can't be one of you happy-clappers saying it's all good and fine.

It is all good and fine though pal, we’re twelfth in the PL. We’re well above par and everyone’s expectations. We’re creating chances at home and our away form is outstanding. We just need a bit of refinement up front, but it won’t be plain sailing for a newly promoted team in the best league on the planet I’m afraid. If the home form clicks we’ll be pushing for top 10.

If you put it in that context, you’re going to get a few jibes as anyone not enjoying the ride needs their bumps feeling IMHO. Perhaps bellends was a bit strong so apologies for any offence, I was probably thinking of “bedwetters” but it’s been a long day. 🤷‍♂️

Dissapointed we could not convert or take any chances from the corners, well 2.5 to 3 yrs ago we were league 1 champs and could only dream of this, perhaps the coach might be emptying a beer off on way home tonight.
Think we are still finding our prem league feet. still believe, of course all the pundits will be saying "oh yes sheff u defo not gonna stay up after they failed to beat a watford side playing at it's worst in 1000 years"......
stuff em
we are in this league on merit, it's tough and hard and the blades and CWAK have to adapt quickly, perhaps it is that fact that we are just slighly unsure of ourselves and darn't really go for it, a confidence thing that is saying to them
"we are not good enough to be prem league, we don't deserve to be here...etc etc"
well sod it blades, just ferkling go for it, stuff em stuff the bloody chuffing lot of em, pundits, press, media the whole chuffing lot just rip the PL a new donkeys bottom hole......
It's just a matter of belief that the players themselves can do it, they are good enough in my view, ok i don't see them visually as most of you guys and dolls have, i have a feeling is that all they need to to do is to take their inner shackles off and have that one or two momemts in a game (each individual player) that gives them that spark.
Ok it might not lead to a goal or a win for that game, but the next game hey ho, take hendo for instance. Last week he dropped a right goulie bag...but today he saved us a point.
That will give not only him a massive boost (sos forgot Mword is copyrighted to rust inclusive.com)", but the team as well, because they must have all been wondering will hendo drop one etc etc, think Hendo's save's today will do the team a world of chuffing good.

right am off to smash mi achey toof in
it's like an annoying bouncy

Don’t put plastic in the sea and more importantly don’t smoke it. Saw that on David Attenborough.

Start to pick up a few more home points and we’ll probably appreciate just how well we’re doing away from home more. Watford absolutely ripped Arsenal apart in their last home game, only crap finishing stopped them getting 3 points. Their are no gimmie games in any division, let alone the PL.
