as i said before

Unfortunately that by itself does not mean anything. When we got promoted to the Premier League, we were behind Reading who achieved the highest ever number of points in league season. When we didn't go up three years ago, we had the highest ever points total by a team not to be promoted.

I thought you didn't like cherry picking? :)

If the points stat over 46 games wasn't enough to get you promotion, there's' no merit in quoting win percentages.
That's is the point I am making!

I think Lee Johnson has every chance of being a really good manager. I was talking to someone who worked on the coaching side at Oldham and he rated him really highly indeed.

However, Barnsley have had a pretty gentle run of games since he took over (Crewe, Scunthorpe, Coventry, Gillingham, Walsall, Oldham - and yes I know some of those are opponents we've failed against) so perhaps we should wait a little bit longer before deciding he's the new messiah.

What have Ched and Barnsley got in common?

They have both been too reliant on their Johnson

Warburton won't come here because we sack too many managers including his mate David Weir. I hope we give Clough until the end of the season otherwise we will just make things worse

reading the comments in here is like working on the telephones at the Samaritans , what a set of depressive no hope give up at the first obstacle lot we are

we need to stay in top 6 with 6 out of 10 home games and a game in hand

Id be gob smacked if we dont but do throw out all the toys now lads like all the others chasing it , bet they arent backing their team either Bradford fans donny all think its do able YET WE DONT ,,, REALLY

SHOW SOME BACKBONE AS FANS , BACK THE CLUB

A year ago wed won a couple , and thought it was possible ,just when it wasnt really , wheres the belief gone in 12 short months , we ought to be buzzing despite 2 defeats in 10

I find it hard to believe blades fans dont think we can win enough but they can believe Barnsley can go to the end of the season unbeaten , why is that ?

Probably based on form and momentum. Wouldn't say they'd go unbeaten myself but I'd say there's a very good chance they'll finish above us

Cooper , we know from experience there is no gentle run of games in this league . What is driving them on is the new manager factor .
In saying that it will be interesting the period of next games for them against Orient , Preston , Bristol and the Blades . The statistical 10 game management factor were you can define your level of success , will be interesting .If positive , we have to raise our game so its not at our expense. He is definitely not the new messiah , and imo will struggle when the honeymoon is over .

Clough on the other hand has got to lift the players and his own game , to ensure our chances of the play offs do not slip away , with two play off spots up for grabs . The barometer again will be tomorrow night.

UTB

If we are to sort this shit out we need someone who has sorted a club out in this division, you may laugh but he got the sack today. He started in this division and I am sure he would give it another go, what Clough has done/is doing hasn't worked and I don't think we can trust him to buy right in the summer. Open up the cheque book and make the man an offer he can't refuse.
