I have to say when I saw our line up I thought Hecky wasn't bothered,but fuck me I was really impressed with our performance, I'm in our local bouncing all over the pub, fuckin BRILLIANT

Got to admit I had spuds to win 3-1 on super6 till I saw team news, 8 fucking changes so I changed it to 4-0. Been watching blades 50 odd years so I ort to know better.

Good un Pomps,- terrific perf. from the lads. Too far gone last night to post but we said Illy would do something sensational before end of season and Boy did he do it last night. Great all round effort from every one of them. I still think its right to put our best efforts into the Cup, it still has a magic to me- maybe cos I'm an old bastard who can remember when it was one of the highlights of the season, but the crowd last night shared that commitment coming from the pitch. We could easy get to the final if we avoid Man clubs.

Game was as good as over when he slammed into the Orange Boots cunt, took the ball and the twat went down expecting ref to give foul and brandish some sort of card. Ref didn't play and rest of team thought "fuck it, not messing with these cloggers tonight".
Well played all, including best ref. I've seen for a very long time. He probably ended with a 2 from the assessor.

When I saw the team sheet I thought jesus were gonna get mullered here tonight ! .. I reckon as did most .
But that was superb from the lads out there on the pitch , worked there bollocks off , disciplined , kept there shape .. ultimately wanted it more than they did .. a throw back to some of those great Cup games we’ve had under previous regimes .
Everyone played there part in the result with Doyle & Robbo joint MOTM for me , think the introduction of Illy & Berge made the difference and got us back in possession again when legs were getting tired .
Illy .. well that’s just Illy for you .. superb close control , jinking run & finish.
Great night , game , atmosphere & result . Loved it

I very much wanted to see young legs throughout our midfield so was very happy (though obviously more than surprised) to see that lineup. I didn't realise it was a forced put for Hecky so I'd only score him 9/10. Saving Illy and Berge for later worked a charm. Considering the appalling record Spurs have at BDTBL I'm more than surprised at the surprise that's been expressed by Blades fans, and obviously the vast majority of Spurs fans haven't looked at the historical records either. Cold wet midweek night matches screw them southern softies every time, though another 6-0 scoreline certainly would have surprised even me. Blackburn, as Wrexham, will be tougher opposition though......
