Disappointing. Wednesday were certainly not the team we beat in September, but weren't much better either.

Couple of things

1. They negated Duffy quite easy
2. In our usual creative areas, they snuffed us out. Overlapping CH, crossing, ball in box to target man, all gone
3. Although they put two banks of four even down to ten, they were static with plenty of space to run into in the middle. We failed to exploit that. It was screaming for a ball into space. When we finally did that - Wilson - he had a crack on goal
4. Lundstrum - not Coutts
5. Far too much long ball at times too

Moore 6/10. Good stop near the end but nowt much else to do
Baldock 7/10. Got forward as usual and worked hard but must stop giving daft free kicks away late on
O'Connell 7.5/10. Good shift. Worked well all over the [itch
Stearman 7/10. Solid enough against a poor attack
Basham 6/10. Not his best game and that fucking cross!
Stevens 7/10. Did well against a cunt of an opponent
Fleck 8.5/10. Did all the spadework
Lundstram 5.5/10. Not Coutts
Duffy 6/10. Not his usual dangerous creative self
Clarke 6/10. Poor service
Donaldson 5/10. Poor game

Wilson 4/10. First shout. Not much

Onwards an upwards. Thank fuck we didn't lose

Really don’t understand the scapegoating of Lundstram every game. Yes he isn’t coutts but he isn’t a like for like replacement. You don’t comment on Granit Xhaka’s performance at Arsenal’s saying he isn’t Ozil. ( Not that either of them are similar to Fleck or Lunny). You don’t comment on how Fernandinio played at City by saying he isn’t De Bruyne. Just need to lay off him imo. He’s been our best player for around a month.

Wednesday got what they wanted but it was nice to us watch dominate them so comprehensively in all aspects but the final third.

1-1 on great saves...General opinion is that we overplayed in the final third...Maybe a tad more direct would have unlocked 'em. Still 4 from 6 isn't bad.

Can't see Lundstram in the first 11 again this season, I think he's one for the bench & the future. He's done OK & has improved, but he's not going to make those incisive passes that open teams up.

If Wilder has targeted 'sharp' players who can pick out the defence splitting pass then I expect Leonard/Evans to fit that role for the next 19 games.

This was first a problem at Forest (as I saw it) and it hasn't got any better

Fair enough ... he's okay, but I feel he lacks the composure of Coutts and his ability to link with Duffy and Fleck. It almost seems like he is trying too hard, and overplays it. He's good, but he's 25% behind what Coutts offers, and that is crucial.
