Transfer news live on Twitter state we're after this winger from Middlesbrough, but so are several championship clubs.
 

Surely I can't be the only one fed up of seeing random players being linked with us over fan-made 'ITK' Twitter accounts who haven't ever been correct with their independent reportings, only to come on here to actually find a thread about it. First there was Harlee Dean, and suddenly in the past 24 hours we've seen Nathan Byrne, Oliver Norwood and now Mustapha Carayol. Some people really mustn't have a lot to do during the summer.
I'm grumpy today :(

Might be in with a shout. Middlesbrough might not want him playing in championship

Indeed. The only one that people have been "right" about is Sharp, and that was hardly a tough one to predict. Sammon and Edgar, and to some extent Woolford, were all announced with minimal ITK reporting.
 
Doesn't have a good injury record of late, but we could be a good club for him to get himself up and running again. Risk, but then isn't every transfer?
 
Carayol was repeatedly AWOL from training, refused to leave the club on loan, refused to leave the club permanently unless his wages were subsidised, refused to terminate his contract and was a hugely disruptive influence in the dressing room....

....on my Footy Manager game.

So it's a no from me.
 
Think he played for Lincoln City for a while back when they were in the FL. decent at that level.

Was just thinking exactly that - many youtube montages make a player look amazing. His highlight that he's particularly adapt at crossing the ball for a goalkick at the back post XD
 

He had some majory injury setback about 18months ago that wrote off his season..he might not be the player he was, pretty pacey winger as i recall was his main virtue.
 
Saw him play for Town earlier this season. For every good thing he did (and in fairness, he was an outlet for them), there was easily 2/3 bad things, and he was beyond lazy tracking back. Saying that, he was still somehow on his feet after about 70 minutes. Didn't fit in with their German geezers 'gegenpressing', and not good enough to get a free pass, so no real surprise he left Udders. Not sure I'd really want him here.
 
He's on loan at Leeds so I think there is no chance of him coming here anyway. Franck Moussa is realistic surely instead!
