Must Win Game

Other results going our way so no real change. Important that we regain some confidence and momentum now. Too many long balls whipped up the park when we know we have the ability to play around teams. Norwood taken out of the game by a high press was reminiscent of the relegation from the PL - he is much more effective playing higher up the pitch. I think the lack of cover from either side of him was a factor

Is it me or does it seem like BDTBL is being watered alot heavier than previously. Seems like the ball is fair flying off the surface which could be hindering our playing the ball on the floor.

I assume that is aimed at me as it was only me as far as I know who said it was a must win. But at no point did I say the season would be over and we all need to pack it in so why be so dramatic?

I said it was a must win because of a poor performance in the last game, as top two candidates we need to be winning our home games and don’t get into a rut and put a run of poor performances together (that’s two) and we could have done with going into the weekends game on the back of a strong performance and a win. But wins don’t seem to bother some on here, they do me and I hope this is just a blip and we are back to winning ways at the weekend because 5 points dropped at home in a matter of days is not ideal if we want to keep the pack at arms length.

I think it helps a passing team but “pings” will skid and make it hard to keep the ball in play

You could tell after 10 mins that we were totally under par and it just got worse , 5 home points thrown away , looked tired & disinterested , very poor

It happens - every team in the league will have bad patches and drop points when not expected. We’ve been poor the last two games and have one point out of six in two home games. But just look at the table and we’d take that after Watford away.

UTB !!

That being said, Wes should have dealt with their goal easily and apart from that they never looked like scoring.

Just as Forest climbed the table last season, it does not take long to start falling. Well said sir

We looked absolutely knackered, no spark and running on empty. Not an excuse but we must get players back to enable rotation which is required for our high press game and instead we lose more players to injury.

Not so much a must-win game.

Just a "don't play like you all fucking met each other 5 minutes ago and allow yourselves to be comprehensively out-sussed by your opponents" sort of game.

That didn't go to plan either.

We’ve lost for first time at home this year and these cocks say that

Wankers pal it’s one match and we’re still top
For now. 1 point from a possible 6 at home is not great. No amount of insults is going to change that.

We wasn’t good at Preston but got away with it we wasn’t good at Swansea but got away with it

sleepless nights & cerebral challenges between now & Satdi!
Average of 2 points per game = promotion (as champions)
Ergo
Lose or draw = we’re shite, beginning of the end ; Hecky ( & Stuart McCall ) out; bring back Tufty; “ Norwood you tosser”; where’s Jebbison ?; why did we let Lopata go; “ league one Wes; always been a selling club ( Jones & Birchenall etc etc)
McCabe; yadda yadda yadda

OR
win = 🤔

Expected to beat Brum and expected a draw last night but it is not the end of life as we know it.

No it’s not great but look a bigger picture mate even Fulham and Bournemouth had there off periods last year but look where they ended up anyone would think these were must win games in april

Fair comment

Averaging 2 points a game I'm sorry to say Hecky out 🤔
