im not sure if ive spelt his second name right...any road, since cahill wont be joining us for the close of the season...we must sign bardsley/ly...then i reckon morgan will get his place back...so you know...reckon it will work?

Where were you on Saturday? Bardsley was piss-poor. And to me he looks like a loan player - completely uninterested about any mistakes he makes and not prepared to break a sweat. On the ball, he is class but his heart isn't here and that to me says he isn't professional enough and spells problems in the future if he does sign.

I didnt notice him to be that bad but the point about passion is spot on ... He doesnt seem to try hard enough ... Del boy should be back soon anyway! :D

Bardsley's passing was just as bad as monty's saturday....poorest performance by him.

Strange post when he had his worst game so far.

But I would sign him.

As others have said Del can play in other positions too.

:)

agree that he had a bad game on saturday but, he's impressed me in past matches. I am glad Del's back though, gotta be best defender not in the premiership

My point about his attitude though is that if we were to sign him, Geary would still be my first choice by a loooonnng way (not a tough choice at all, Sheffield-Bl4de:)) and I can well imagine Bardsley would not be happy to fight for his place. It's only an inclination that I gather from his body language but I'd just like to state my opinion now and see how things pan out.

Blades target Bardsley deal
Friday 30 Nov 2007
Sheffield United are confident they can persuade Manchester United to let them sign on-loan defender Phil Bardsley for £1million.

The 22-year-old is currently in the middle of a three-month loan spell with the Blades and has impressed in his eight appearances for Bryan Robson's side.

Although Bardsley has been linked with a switch to Sunderland during the January transfer window, United chairman Terry Robinson is confident he will land the defender and Gary Cahill from Aston Villa on permanent deals.

He said: "Bryan Robson and I are pursuing enquiries for both players with both parent clubs.

"One seems quite positive, while the other is keeping its options open."

Meanwhile, Bardsley added: "I want to be playing at this stage of my career. My future is in my hands, but of course other people will also have a say in it."

More on us trying to sign Bardsley and Cahill.

I hope we can atleast sign one of the two.
