We rescued a girl sitting on her own being bored senseless by a Swindon fan last night before the match. It turned out to be none other than Brayford's missus Olivia killing some time before the game. We too bored her senseless I'm sure, but she was a thoroughly nice girl happy to answer all our questions. Apparently they're really settled in Sheffield and our lads are a much nicer bunch than Cardiff's. She now knows that BladeinCottingham has her boyfriend on his t-shirt and that Greenwich Blade likes to collect the occasional record...



Fortunately, she wasn't tuned in to a conversation we had about attractive player's girlfriends 10 minutes before we spoke to her. We mentioned her specifically, not realising she was sitting less than 10 feet away...

I did make her laugh though when a bit-overweight chap with a Brayford beard entered the beer garden and I said, "I think that injury has affected your bloke's fitness quite a bit."

She looks quite bright and cheerful, if as suspected, she's just sat through a 45 minute discourse on the wonderful organ work of Dave Sinclair on Caravan's In the Land of Grey and Pink given by Greenwich Blade. (He's probably right by the way, the pinnacle of their work IMO)
