God knows I've given you enough flak in the past but credit where credit's due.

If you have indeed written off the debt the club owes your family, I fail to see what more you could have done to balance the scales.

Thank you. Sincerely.

Rustyblade - like you I've given McCabe some stick and I agree with your sentiment .........................

However,
1. where did you hear McCabe has written off his debt - I haven't seen anything along those lines
2. we've all heard bull***t from McCabe in the past - I think I'll wait to see what exactly is invested in the team. Presumably, ther's a contract with the prince that specifies what he puts in for his half of the club - but we've seen enough c***ups with contracts at the Lane to have some reservations.

Said it had been written off in the press conference this morning

Stannyblade thanks - is there any report of the press conference available on the net - I can't find one. Was there any mention of what the prince's financial commitment is and how it will be channelled into the club given the current financial fair play rules.

I really want this to be true but I've still got that nagging feeling all is not as it has been portrayed.
