I somewhat struggle to give much of a shit about what the media thinks of us or anyone around us. Burnley will win the popularity contest over us but the reality is they're not much better than we are and let's be honest, the media don't really give a shit about anything below the top half anyway.

My concerns are laying with the squad and staff, seemingly given up and there doesn't seem to be much a gel between them. Some of the results this club has had to grind out in the recent past has been helped hugely but them being a squad playing for club, manager and each other, I don't know but it just seems like they're all individuals at the moment.

The last thing on my mind is what MOTD is saying about us or anyone else.

Look, we are probably as big, if not bigger (not wealthier) than Burnley and Luton put together. So the sympathy vote was never gonna be with us. Unfortunately we haven’t got a former Premier league hero or a young up and coming rookie manager in our technical area…So there’s no real story that accompanies our rise into the Premier league. Not sure how you see that as a positive. He only fussed up after he'd been found out.

I doubt Southampton will be criticized like we were, not unless they get into a position to break either the Derby points record or our defensive record.

It does make me laugh when I hear the "don't deserve to be in the premier league" (from both pundits and fans).

As far as I am concerned, any team that plays well enough to get promoted from the Championship (which is getting harder, admittedly) deserves to play in the premier league for however long they are there, no matter how good or bad they are.

Another thing that does concern me with MOTD (admittedly it's a strange point I'm making), is the lack of pundits who were not as famous as these top player-turned pundits, especially ones from the lower leagues where some fans will go "who's that" as they weren't a top player.

Especially as some of these lesser known pundits arguably provide better insight and analysis than some of these more famous players, especially in the lower leagues.

Don't usually watch Saturdays MOTD as busy but always do MOTD 2 from a Sunday but wtf is going on with the camera angle for the quick highlights? I think even the presenter said its allover the place. Improving hopefully.
