Didn't guess them? We'd never heard of some of 'em! Hussey, Wilson. Lafferty. O' Connell.

Wilder's done really well with his recruitment and I'm sure he'll do really well again.

No . Maybe my use of abreviated positional descriptions hasn't helped me get my point across here . What I meant was Jags being a direct replacement for jake Wright and Brayford replacing Bash/EEL . This gives us Lafferty , JOC , jags , Brayford and Freeman .

Hope this clarifies my thoughts on the matter .

Totally agreed. There are plenty of players at league one level we have seen that can do more than well in the championship which won't break the bank. Look for players that's wilder can work with, not players who think they are already there and think they have nothing to prove

Couldn't agree more with this. I would rather see us looking at the likes of Maddison and Otzumer than 30 year old journeymen that have hopped from one Championship team to another.

I reckon 4 or 5 new signings. No big names. Cover at centre half, goalkeeper, maybe a wide player, another midfielder or defender and Ched.

The indications are the core squad remains intact which I think is the right thing to do. Evolution not revolution.

I'm not expecting it to be exciting but solid and sensible.

From what McCabe has said we'll do our businesss early on. Therefore come deadline day when we don't sign anyone there will be the classic "we've not signed anyone"

I might be wrong here, but one of the things I like about Wilder (and there are many) is that he likes to get business done early in the transfer window. The squad is therefore in place ready for pre season training. Previous managers have left everything until the last minute. The old saying "fail to prepare, prepare to fail" definitely rings true.
