Hi everyone, Baggie in peace here!

Just wondering if there's any radio stations in Sheffield that regularly do full commentary on your games? Me and my Dad will be travelling to Bramall Lane tomorrow and, as he is visually impaired, he needs commentary. Any help would be appreciated. :-)

All the best for the season (apart from tomorrow!), and commiserations for being lumbered with Mr Robson!! ;-)

Cheers.

Radio Sheffield usually cover the matches, although with it being a late kickoff/the blades being at home i'm not sure what it'll be on.

What you could do is call the club, I know we were trialling some form of headset not so long ago for people in your dads position. Give em a ring on 0870 787 1960, you never know, they may be able to sort you something out. I'd say ask for the legend that is Mick Rooker, but strictly speaking it isn't his job.

Will have a dig around and see if I can find out what Radio Sheffield are doing tommorrow too.

UPDATE:

Looks like they are extending their usual saturday coverage and having the match live. You can get Radio Sheffield on 104.1, 88.6 & 94.7 FM and on 1035 AM.

I'm not endorsing their commentry however! :D

Brilliant, thanks a lot!

Think it'll be a good game tomorrow, 2 very good teams who'll both be up there come the end of the season. I'll be happy with a point but most Albion fans have their heads in the clouds at the moment and are expecting a win...

How do you rate your chances for tomorrow, and for the rest of the season?

Think it'll be a good game, but worried its you that we are playing.

In contrast to pre-season we haven't really played well at all so far, think we will struggle all season against big/strong teams, we just don't have anyone (other than Morgan) who can stand up to a battering and it showed against Watford.

I'd like to think we'll resume service and have a good game, but I just don't know at the moment, we need that first win to kick-start us.

I think over the season we should do well, we have a good squad, it's just if he can get them playing!

Hmm. That gives me a lot of hope for tomorrow to be honest, I think if you try and "out-football" us rather than have a more physicalapproach, you'll be playing right into our hands. Tony Mowbray has built a very good team here, considering the utter mess Robson left us with!

I know there's a bit of ill-feeling between our clubs after the "Battle of Bramall Lane", but I genuinely feel sorry for your fans after the appointment of Bryan Robson. I hate to be the voice of doom and gloom, but believe me you can do a lot better. I've already seen a few posts saying certain players have been played out of position - better get used to that I'm afraid, and many other puzzling tactical decisions. Also I'd keep an eye on the fitness of your squad, as a lot of our players were desperately unfit towards the end of Robson's reign - some looked very overweight.

Sorry I didn't mean to depress you on a Friday afternoon lol... see you tomorrow. :-)

Boing Boing!

Actually we have been one of the fittest clubs around in recent years, work of the fitness coach not the manager. Don't believe he will be a one-man band either and we do have a great management in place.

were used to that with warnock :D:D:D

only way weare geting 3 points tommorow is if your lot dont turn up tomorrow lloydey

i don't a massive 6-1 victory on the cards!

6-0 like 99 :D

I'm VERY optimistic about todays game. We finally get to play a team that will come at us instead of longballing or sitting in defence.

So was we under Gary Megson. Robson took over and within a year our players looked overweight and unfit.

I don't think there fitness is down to Robson alone. We have Tony Daley and he's obsessed with fitness and keeping the squad fit as mch as possible (doesn't wrk all the time though as proved with ade and Li Tie :( )

Looks like you were right!

We were a shambles yesterday, worst performance I've seen from our lot for a year. Credit to your team though, you did very well, and I stand by my top six prediction for you.

Good luck for the rest of the season, apart from when you visit the Hawthorns! :D

Cheers! :)

I certainly thought you'd cause us far more problems. Nice to have an opposition fan who speaks sense, rather than spouting off.

Good luck (except against us!) for the rest of the season and I hope you got something sorted for your dad.
