So we’ve got ‘them’ out of the way and face a Rotherham side who haven't won an away game in the Championship all season and have only 7 points from a possible 51 away points. Not quite ‘high noon’ (12.15 KO) but a game every bit as important as Monday’s.
My previous Memries of Rotherham.
Relegated from The Championship after finishing rock-bottom with just 23 points (28 points from safety) in the 2016/17 season without winning a single away game, Rotherham spent just one season in League One before being promoted back to The Championship via the play-offs in the 2017/18 season.
Last gaining an away win in The Championship on 9th April 2016 with a 4-0 win at MK Dons, this Saturday is The Millers’ 43rd attempt to get three away points at this level – 1,064 days…However The Millers have recently become ‘draw specialists’ with creditable away draws at Reading, Hull and Millwall. Six days early, but ‘Beware The Ides of March’?
An ultimately disappointing draw at New York Stadium last November meant that The Blades have only lost one league game against The Millers since 21st February, 1981.

Our League record v. Rotherham is:
Home: P: 15 W: 10 D: 1 L: 4 F: 28 A: 19
Away: P: 16 W: 7 D: 6 L: 3 F: 30 A: 20
Championship Table:
United – with two upcoming home games – have a good chance to get back into the automatic promotion places…

Norwich v Swansea playing this Friday (8th March)
…while Rotherham remain in danger of an instant return to Division One.

Form Guide:
Based on the last six league games, United are second in the overall ‘form’ guide and are top of the ‘home’ form guide. Rotherham are, surprisingly, 14th in overall form without a defeat since their narrow 2-1 home loss to Leeds United on January 26th. However, their poor results ‘on the road’ mean they are 19th in the ‘away’ form guide.
