Be easier to give us Bramall lane in full and shove the 9 Chesterfield fans in the "pukka pie" corner, that way no segregation is required!! Problem solved.

A lot of fuckin about considering all the Chezzy fans will have left when the 8th goal goes in.

Remember when the Chesterfield chairman said that the football world order (local) had changed and that they were now a bigger club than us ?

No I don't. When was that?

I remember John Ryan the Doncaster Chairman saying it though. He said that Barnsley and Doncaster were the new order and would take fans off the Sheffield clubs. I don't think many of our fans have defected to Oakwell to see Championship football last season and I think even less of them followed Donny in League 2.

Chesterfield have never had ideas beyond their station as far as I can recall. They've never been higher than the 3rd division in their history - and I doubt they ever will. They are in some serious trouble now financially and we should enjoy playing them this weekend because it might be the last time ever that we do.

I'd assume some will be people who maybe work shifts etc. so couldn't necessarily commit 3 weeks ago. No need to be disparaging to others in less flexible positions.
But you can buy tickets in advance and return them for a full refund if you cannot use them so long as this is done before kick-off.

Maybe a fair amount of people aren't aware of this? For example, it's still surprising how many people aren't really aware that you can get the tickets online, rather than phoning or going to the ground.

Despite this, we shouldn't be saying who should and shouldn't be allowed to get a ticket, just because they've not bought one well in advance. Everyone's situation is different, as the reasons why they won't have got one already and everyone should be welcomed.

100 loyalty points, if you've not got your Chezzy tickets now you dont deserve any loyalty points (from a season ticket holder of 25yrs)
Harsh, there are many fans that for what ever reason could not commit to being there. What does you having a season ticket for 25 years have to do with fans buying a Chezzzy game ticket?

i knew it peaked too soon story of my life.... earlier i bought 2 x tickets from the Ches Vegas site felt rather chuffed with myself then i read this !

mind you at least i will be there to see Champions lift that Trophy plus they are shipping the tickets to the Lane so i can collect there.

UTB

You're not alone.

He's obviously a much bigger blade ;)

They leave after the 2nd goal goes against them at the Prolapse. A mate of mine goes in a group of 8 who are regularly in the pub before half time.

Well, I just hope that we do crack the 30k barrier when the official capacity is 32k.
It's bad enough seeing all those empty seats at Mk when you couldn't get one...even worse when you are unable to get a ticket for your home league fixtures!

Never before have I been unable to source a ticket at home, and just couldn't get through this morning. I guess it's just luck of the draw if you manage to drop into the queue or get the engaged tone!!

It was the Donny guy.

Tarn have been in the second division many times in the past though.

They're claiming 30,549 at home to Wolves on Jan. 2. Must have been 'Quid a Pig'.

It was a ticket offer, £10 for adults to get in.
I reckon we'll have around 30,500 in Sunday, about 2,200 under capacity.

Remember the front 2 rows in the BLUT are netted off and
the front 2 or 3 rows in the BL lower tier are netted off and
a few hundred in the South stand bottom corner netted off in H block.

So to use a Pig argument the revenue from the Chezzie game will be more than their revenue from the Wolves game. (Oh I feel so childish)

Don't forget your matchday programmes will be a £4 special too ;)

Anyone still think the Lane capacity is big enough?

No, we are down to about 22k home tickets and inadequate hospitality facilities. In an ideal world we could give away fans Bramall Lane upper and lower and have enough space to cater for our fans. The reality will be locking away or home fans out, and losing potential revenue. We could also raise ticket prices to maximise revenue (effectively pricing some out,) but I'd prefer to grow our fanbase (a consistent McCabe policy).

Long time ago. They've not been higher than the third division since before it became a national league.

The 'new world order' of Rotherham and Donny didn't last long did it?

They paid the supporters a tenner each?

That is my fear if we are selling out regularly prices will increase to pig levels to compensate.
