Moore

It was stupid, Stearman was still in the picture for defending the ball....not like he was about to sweep the ball in from where he was
As good as Stearman has been, he should have taken charge of that situation, first of all by instructing Moore to stay and then by clearing the ball in to touch.

TBF i thought Stearman was in charge of the situation until Moore came flying out....Stearman wasn't even facing towards Moore to give him instructions

Simon isn't the first and won't be the last goalie to come flying out of his goal and do something stupid, the thread should be deleted, calling our goalie who has served us so well this and last season ,such an awful name,is just wrong.

Is it coincidental that Moore has played throughout our shit run?

Last league game Blackman played was our defeat at Milwall on 2nd December.

Moore has played 12 league games this season and we've won 3.

Won 11 from 19 with Blackman.

Bring back Blackman for me.
been thinking this for weeks. just based purely on the stats and results.

He was in charge of the situation.

Which is precisely why he should have ordered Moore to stay put and deal with it.

Im in extreme minority. that Thought it was harsh & unfortunate outcome of a 50/50 challenge where he had eyes for the ball. I feel like i was wrong as most people think it was a red

But we cant slag him off after 1 mistake. As 3 weeks ago he saved our arse. With that stunning save in 89th min of sheffield derby

yeh but what i'm saying is he wasn't facing Moore...probably didn't even see him charging out until it was too late.

And what would everyone say if ANY player had looked like showing an attitude of "Oh fuck it, why bother - the games gone anyway"
not quite sure what relevance that is to my comment.

Moore lost his head for a few seconds that's all it takes to do something silly and out of character.I hope the person who put the thread up regrets doing it as I can guarantee Moore will no doubt not sleep well tonight .

I am fucking beside myself with Moore. Knowing full well we have a backup keeper crisis he launches headlong into the Wolves lad and gets himself sent off. Wilder had no option but to send young Jake Eastwood straight into the firing line with several very important games coming up.

If I was Wilder I'd fucking tie Moore down to the treatment table and whip him. He has let the fans and the club down. He very well could have ruined our playoff chances through his stupidity. And he needs to know that.

Dear God, please get Blackman healed up as soon as possible.
I can understand the frustration you feel, as no doubt a passionate Blade, especially so soon after the final whistle. We all make, at least, occasional mistakes. I think that your description of Moore isn`t really fair, and would hope you re-assess your OP headline.

He glanced in the direction of the goalie, then realising Moore was on his way, he half stopped and changed his direction which allowed the Wolves player to get in front.

He had the opportunity to order Moore back. He didn’t take it.

A touch of an overreaction don't you think?

We wouldn't have won that game tonight with two goalkeepers between the posts. Ok, Simon Moore's made an error of judgement but on the other hand, he's got the team out of the shit on many occasions previously which has enabled us to play against the likes of Wolves, Villa et al.

So fuckin grow up you mardy arse.

Moore has improved a lot since he’s come back.
One of those things tonight

I hope that is sarcastic. It was dangerous and high and could have caused a bad injury. It was Schumacher-esque

Moore isn't a cunt, twat or anything else you may throw at him. He was unlucky. He went for the head and only got the neck, simple misjudgement on Simon's part.

Given the thread title edit, I wonder if since1889 has earned himself an infraction? Are you there, old boy, or on the naughty step?

unfortunately not, that was my 1st idea from the when I saw it, there was no malice he had eyes for the ball but I can see why he had no choice but to send him off because it looked nasty & cant be condoned

You make it sound like Stearman’s controlling Moore like its FIFA or something. He had enough on chasing Jota down without telling Moore anything (at the time I thought Jota was miles clear but having seen the replay I think Stearman would have dealt with the danger).
The insistence on pinning blame on Stearman even for an incident so clear-cut as this one is truly staggering.

Quote “I think Stearman would have dealt with the danger”.

Your right.

He would.

Not once has blame been apportioned here. Merely an observation of what is most probably a lack or breakdown of simple communication.

Does the fact your quote as above confirms you see it as I do mean you are also “pinning blame” ?
