well monty got his place for next season, who will follow and who will be showing the door???

Fair play, he deserves it, 1 year deal isn't the best from his point of view so you've got to rate him for that. Most players at this point in their career would be looking for 2 as a minimum.

For me the most improved player of the season, he's not the best passer of a ball but it's obvious he's worked at it, work rate never in question, honest player.

Depends if Blackwell stays. You never know, Blackie might leave and be replaced by another manager who has no wish to play Monty. In that circumstance, I'd be pleased that he's only tied down to a 1 year contract.
