Yeah, it's bonkers how this has become such a phenomenon just at the point we massively reduced the amount we do it. Everyone will have caught up by Christmas 2020

But the thing is we only played our normal “attacking passing” game for the last 15 minutes.
The first 75 minutes we were much more cautious and defensive than normal, although in a daft way maybe that cautiousness worked because it seems that Eddie Howe’s tactics was to wait for SU to attack in numbers, then we’ll catch them on the break, on the counter attack BUT apart from the last 15 minutes we never pushed loads of players forward, so Bournmouth struggled and never had that chance to counter attack against us.

I spent seven years broadcasting live for two hours a week. Chris Sutton has the most awful radio voice I have ever heard. Robbie Savage is not much better.

Wish she was on MOTD 2 instead of the number twos, Chapman, Jason Mohammad, Gabby Logan etc.

MOTD 2 is awful really now, especially when Jenas is on. They should get someone who's got a personality for it, it's meant to be the more irreverent one, get Crouch on it.

I like Chris as he isn't afriad to offer an alternative and unpopular view from time to time.

He's not a shock-jock wanker like Durham who deliverately sets out to provoke, but he will speak his mind. The others tend to take the mick for him being a bit dour but he is a good foil to Wrighty's enthusiasm.

I've even got to like Kelly Cates for her footy knowledge, although it took her a while to settle and find a less jarring style.

MNFC is an excellent 2 hours and there is usually a knowledgeable journalist on their too, so well worth a listen (or podcast later) now we are back in the big time.

Funniest thing I saw Sutton do was when he was asked to do his Scottish Premiership Team Of The Season and he just picked the entire Celtic team. He got absolute pelters from the other pundits.

I like Savage, his podcast with Flintoff and Syed was amazing, listened through it twice.

Savage gets the piss taken out of him but it's really fun and all good natured.

The problem with that is if a ‘character’ with ‘personality’ cracked a joke about us there’d be outrage.
 
Was just talking about Wrighty to a mate, reminiscing about when he played for Forest and the kop spent a lot of the game chanting “Ian shite shite shite” at him

He gave us all the V’s from under his shirt as he was leaving the pitch. I’ve always liked him.

Met Savage once through BT Sport. The first thing he asked was ‘are you United or Wednesday’. When I said United he chewed my ear off about how much he loved Wilder. I didn’t think he’d have so much knowledge but he was a big fan of how we went about things.
