Hang on guys, these players should have been in the day wilder walked through the door. They have missed some preseason and it's just not good enough.

At least Duffy and O'Connell now have a #carshare

Whatever it is, mine is coming back at a rate of knots. For all the talk of pegs in holes on the pitch, we've not had a good fit in the manager's position since NW.

CW and SUFC seem a perfect fit, not felt this positive for a long time.
Shouldn't have been so careless in the first place :-)

ISC beat me to it.

All I'd add is a note of caution, we've been here before. Adkins came in and hopes were high, now we have a new manager and we're off on the good ship United for the umpteenth time. I hope Chris Wilder manages to get the players we've been lacking, ones who are capable of securing the promotion place we've talked about for far too long. There's nearly always a note of optimism at this time of year, so I hope, come xmas, our league position reflects this mood, and that we're in good shape for the run-in and that the players have the necessary motivation to prove that we're more than just a club with a million pound pitch, decent training facilities, and a superb fan base. got to say looking forward to start of the new season ,off to that dump skeggy tomorrow so gunna wear new blades top also to piss my miss piggy bird off as well

Don't think it deserves its own thread, but the first team will be playing tomoz at stocksbridge, not the kids or development as Normally happens, yes I'd expect to see semple and a few others, but I've had it confirmed its a fist 11, and they'll have a extra bar staff on which is just as important...

My mojo is back too...

I can’t drag myself to read let alone participate in the footy threads at the moment.

My football Mojo has gone, 100%. Not being negative and it’s not my recent injuries, and subsequent physical health / mental health issues.

To say we are in the PL I can’t remember a time in the past 67 years of following football (not just the Blades) that the beautiful game has been so unattractive to the majority of football fans (top 6/7/8 apart).

I enjoy games but us being the laughing stock of English football, our dire ownership issues, Wilder back in charge, PL being so openly corrupt giving Citteh a way out of being deducted so many points they’d be relegated to Sunday league whilst holding out the begging bowl to cash in is all too much.

Where would the proceeds of a “luxury tax” go? Back into grass roots, helping lower leagues etc or just into the PL coffers?

And to top it all a 2 point deduction pissing on the start of next season. Wonder if Villa, scabs et Al will get EFL punishments for historic events?

We’re looking at at least 2-3 year rebuild if a buyer was on the horizon now but there’s not. Be surprised if I’m still around to see us become a top half PL team.

Heyho, life of a Blade (or a non top 6 club fan).
