Sorry I'm going to have to some credit for this win, turned the radio off at 1-0 down just after Baxter had played an awful pass with the hope they'd turn it round in my absence :)

Brilliant, lowest placed team still in the comp home or away will do for me.

Gutted in the end but at least we can concentrate on the league ;), you are one of best teams we've played at home this season, you play very similar to us playing it out from the back and moving it round the pitch well.
It was a very even game but not the most entertaining, good luck you just want to avoid Derby and Bormuff in the draw now.

Not entirely fair. We had 24 shots against Crewe on Saturday. It's not a lack of trying that is not getting us these goals. Need to finish better.
 
The only thing I wasn't happy with was the second goal our defence and keeper cocked it right up but the linesman was flagging for a goal kick and the ref gave the corner, I will have to watch the highlights to see if we were robbed o_O

Where do you see your selves finishing in the league ? I think we will both be in the playoffs
 
I thought we were pretty damn good tonight. Travelling fans were a bit crap in the first half, sat on the comfy MK Dons seats keeping quiet and letting the Ched gang make the only noise. I think our midfield is really starting to play, gaining a degree of control that I haven't seen for a long, long time. No, we didn't turn that into attempts in the first half against a pretty decent MKD team but I was confident we'd turn them over eventually. Really looking forward to the rest of the season.

Unfortunately for you,and i mean this with the greatest respect,think you'll finish just outside the play offs yet again.For us i think we will get atleast 3rd spot,and that's not been biased,just very honest.
 



The trouble with this league anyone can beat anyone and it's very unpredictable, if either team can put a good run together you never know what could happen but bristol are looking pretty good so far but every team has a blip at some point.
 
Preston look the strongest at the moment. Bristol have taken the eye early on but Preston are just quietly setting about their business and can go top if they win their game in hand.

We had our blip at the start;)and at the moment Bristol City are stuttering,albeit still haven't lost yet,but this will be a big month for them.Personally i think Preston are going to be one of the teams who gets a good head of steam up and they will go up this season if they keep Garner and Humphreys fit.
 
We deserved that result and fucking glad I was about it, MK Dons are a fucking loathsome excuse for a shower of shite.

Think you are being a bit harsh on our Keith.

He is an ex footballer, he now drive lorries/vans and he does some summary for Radio Sheffield.

Lets be right, how many ex footballers are blessed with brain power?

He is one of ours, and compared to some of the plastic piggy summarisers, he is quite good.

Always liked the ex Barnsley player (geordie?) on Radio Sheffield - he always came across well though - name anyone?

Derek Parker ? Jon Howard is one of my neighbours and he used to do quite a few Chesterfield games ,in fact he did about 8 in a row and then they brought John Duncan in for a Derby game ,he wasn't impressed ,they get paid very little you know.

Derek Parker - thanks. Always came across as an honest fella when we played Barnsley and had joint summarisers with KE.
