Not saying Blackman hasn't made some good saves but you have to question him on 2 , possibly all 3 league goals

CW also said he wished he was more vocal ,
So not very vocal , good shot stopper but too quiet and doesn't command his box , sounds familiar!

We were in that shite league for so long for various reasons but one being the GK 's being poor ,
Its no coincidence that Moore came in last season and our results changed ( along with ebanks Blake )

With Moore missing we are missing a huge part of the spine of last seasons team , I would also argue Duffy missing in the starting 11 is another big difference, he was very often a vital link between midfield and the front 2

Not worried about the season and looking forward to Saturday and love how our manager talks and no doubt we will be fine , but will be very happy when Moore is back in goal !

Missing Moore is definitely the reason we've scored 1 goal so far. With Moore, we wouldn't have won against Brentford.

Also, Ebanks-Blake didn't play for us.

I'd love to see you question him on NML's goal. Go on...

I don't think the player that's the main reason for our 3 points on the board is the problem somehow. Not even sure there's a massive problem - Cardiff just played incredibly well with a lot of confidence.

Improvements can obviously be made and that's what Wilder is trying to do. But blaming Blackman is ridiculous.

It's crazy to blame Blackman for last night!!. We were up against a very Pacey midfield and fast strikers. The second goal was down to poor defending allowing Mendez-Laing the space to launch an unstoppable shot. Blackman needs to improve in certain areas! Being more vocal would help his game!. I M H O. Let's just give him a chance!!.

Bang on fuckin cue! You couldn't make it up if you tried? Fuck me senseless!!!!!!!!!

Blackman has looked decent to me. Maybe he doesn't talk enough, I don't know - I wouldn't hear him if he did talk, so it's hard for me to have an opinion.

Blackman almost single-handedly got us the clean sheet (and win) on the opening day. He made a mistake at Boro, but I'd put more blame on Basham (for the header) and Fleck (for giving Bamford way too much time to play the through ball). Yesterday we were simply beaten by a better team and Moore wouldn't have made an iota of difference. For a loan player, Blackman is doing fine.

We've lost 2 games let's blame the keeper.

I've watched the goals from last night and I couldn't see anything he could have done.

Were our keepers at fault the season we got 20 plus clean sheets a club record?

He should have been giving the back line a right bollocking all game they hardly won a header last night Cardiff had free headers time after time. Good shot stopper but that isn't always enough Long was a good shot stopper but the rest of his game made the defence hesitant and shaky. Mistake maybe at Boro but can't blame him for last nights goals one a free header one a wonder strike (we missed out on one there NML).

My only fault of Blackman so far is his distribution.

My only fault so far has been being too far off his line for the opener against Boro. That said it was a clusterfuck of a jammy goal on their part and so we can't read too much into it.

He's been decent so far and will continue to improve. He's more assured than Long for a start.

This was the point i was trying to say put far better by metalblade ,
hold my hands up and say unfair to hold any blame to Blackman for goals last night after watching them again , also not with it this AM , putting ebanks Blake another example !

Just think having a strong communicator in goal and speaking constantly to his team mates helps organisation and team focus
, for seasons we were too quiet and lacking leaders and personally believe Moore is one of these

Of course we are in a harder division now with far better packer strikers / midfielders and that is going to cause far more problems but would just prefer a leader in goal , and fair play to Blackman for his saves and the first day heroics

Off to crawl back away and hide awaiting another lashing ! ......

He made a mistake at Boro? Did he ask Basham to head the ball directly up in the air, in the middle of our box?

Moore is certainly commanding in his area and I think the back 3 know when he's coming. With Blackman they don't. That's my only criticism so far with his general goalkeeping.

Distribution wise hes a long way off where he should be. It's vital that he puts the ball into areas that give our players a chance. Giving the oppo a throw in doesn't do that.

As for goals, you could argue the first Cardiff goal is one he could've come for and perhaps v Boro he was out of position... however I think it would be harsh when JOC was out at full back and Stearman/ Basham couldn't decide between them who's ball it was. It wasn't Blackmans ball.

Moore is much more experienced and that's what he brings. Can't deny Blackmans performance v Brentford got us 3 vital points

Although Long who interestingly out of 3 starts at Wimbledon has had 2 MOM awards.

I think Blackman will be fine.

Our view on the way back was that only a combination of Jamal's excellent 'keeping and Cardiff's poor finishing prevented us shipping 5 or 6 last night, tbh.

blame the new guy.. hanging! hanging!.. i would say that bash was at fault for all three but hey what do i know.. moore isn't all that anyway.. he usually has nothing to do

Basham was weak and mainly at fault but if you are leaving it for the defender to deal with stay on your line, if you are coming to catch it make sure you get it even if it means going through your team mate Blackman was half and half, I'm not going to criticise him too much in his 2nd game when he will be unsure of his defenders.

I think Basham has been one of best players, last season and so far this season. But he's not really a full back or centre half is he? I think that's the problem. He's being played as a kind of utility player and he's really more of a midfielder.

Bash had a good game against Brentford but was poor against Boro & Cardiff for me...a definite weak link along with Freeman down that right hand side.

Blackman is doing fine, I'm not sure Moore would have made any difference at all, in fact I don't think we would be sat on 3 points now with Moore in the net....probably more like 2....(would have definitely conceded against Brentford but possibly kept the Boro goal out so 2 draws...)

Can't blame Blackman at all. He's saved a few sure goals against both Brentford and Cardiff, that free kick save yesterday was outstanding.

The defence have been very shaky infront of him. Can't help him.

I actually think Cardiff targeted Basham as the weak link in our back 3, the amount of times the ball was played over his head was clear. Bad day at the office for him.
