England will be no distraction for me. I'm aware they are playing France first off, but have no idea of:

The other teams in England's group;
When or where they are playing;
Which other countries have qualified;
The composition of other groups.

The England team is garbage. They will, as always, be comprehensively outplayed by so-called lesser opposition. They have more chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest than Euro 2012.

As for the Olympics, even less of a distraction. There's a pill, potion or syringe behind every gold medal. A worthless sham and an insult to the truly great athletes of the past.

I shall, as always, enjoy the off season for its lack of stress.

Try a team full of over hyped overpaid tossers who are not half as good as they think they are after reading about themselves on the back pages of the media bullshit. Deluded Premiership pansies in a world a million miles away from real life and real working class football fans. Put together a team from the football league then I might show a bit of interest and we might just surprise a few people, at least the players would give it their all rather than worrying about how much the FA and corporate sponsors are going to pay them.

But it isn't only England players who that applies to, every single player on display there will be a cheating, diving overhyped wanker so why should the constant criticism suggest that it's only England players who resort to that?

Unfortunately "top level" football across the globe hasn't been a working class game for years, it's been ruined by greed and the propensity to cheat. If a bunch of cheating diving overhyped wankers have to win the tournament then at least let them be English, it'd make a nice change to win something, and don't forget, it doesn't mean you have to like the tossers

I think everyone knows which players I'm on about they play for Man U , Chelsea, Liverpool etc, all the pampered pets spit the dummy and throw the rattle when things don't suit them. And don't get me started on the usual "yes man" type of England manager which started in the early 70's with the appointment of the cheat from up the M1. Cloughie should have been England manager but they didn't like the fact he said things as they were. Since then we have had some right shit in charge with the exception possibly of Sven, mind you Hodgson might do alright seems he has upset one or two people already..................... good on him.

I am absolutely sick of hearing the small minded repertoire of tunes they have trying to drum up support from the masses. It's not even the Wendy links that annoy me anymore - it's just gone well past it's 'use by' date and it's stinking to high heaven.

You're 100% correct when it comes to the Wendy links as well.. I don't know of 1 England who doesn't think it's annoying.. nowt to do with them.. Bloody awful racket... 2nd worse only to bagpipes droning on.
