Not yet no, he did mention his intentions for the first time long before I heard you say it though. Then more recently you said it was back on the cards, which it now is.

Without inferring it in the slightest eh? Given that he isn't wooden, nor has a long nose I'd imagine that's what you meant by "Pinochio McCabe".

Because if we had, the story would have been broken by his new club. Any club realistically signing Mr Beattie, will be doing so as they have the usual January desperation for a goal scorer. They would break the news straight away. I also believe Mr McCabe when he states that no bid has been accepted.

That's not to say we won't sell him, we probably will, but I don't believe Mr McCabe has lied in the slightest by saying we haven't sold him.

He most likely is, if clubs are bidding acceptable amounts for him. Just tonight Blackwell says he has a great relationship with Beattie, so who has he fallen out with? Surely he wouldn't say such a thing if we are nailed on to sell him and there has been a big bust up? that would be asking for twice the fallout with fans as Beattie would mention the bust up.

I seem to recall you saying he'd be off in the last window? oh and I also recall you saying we should sell the lazy sod and rebuild with "AMBITION".

Before the most recent one yes, however I believe Mr McCabe spoke of intentions to do so long before it was announced that we were planning it. Either way, it's been a logical move for a long time.

Then why infer that he has? I think he only evaded the important questions in terms of what he had to in order to keep us in a strong position. He answered the majority, but kept cards close to his chest on the ones that he needed to.

and the reight price is probably what we will now be offered with the situation as it is, taking into account his wages too. Especially if Beattie wants away. If this is the case, it's all about getting the best deal and how we replace him.
