Having a reliable keeper and a goalscorer have played a huge part with our success this season, but for me it's having a quality midfield which has been the main factor.

I doubted we had enough, especially defensively, at several times this season, but I've been happily proved wrong.

Fleck has been phenomenal.
Coutts has surprised everyone and has had a great season
Duffy made a huge difference, expecially earlier on in the season. He was our spark for months.
Basham has once again shown his versitility, and whilst midfield maybe not his best position, he's made some vital contributions.

Great work from Wilder and Knill putting that together.

And how many of us would have thought there would have been enough "bite" in a Coutts / Fleck midfield pairing ?? Not moi for starters.

Of the several master strokes Wilder has pulled this year, this, by a country mile, is the best of the lot
