Midfield Doyle?

We have no one in midfield with any bite or nastiness in them as a consequence we get walked over by teams in midfield which in turn exposes are shite defence. Im not saying Doyle is the answer but someone of the that type is needed. Doesn't have to be a great footballer just someone to sit in midfield and fight for the ball and give the back four some protection. Im no Clough fan but to his credit he knew our defence was shit and as a consequence knew he had to pack the midfield.Reed seriously needs to go out on loan he's getting worse and worse maybe a stint lower down the leagues may do him good he's never going to be a physical presence so he has to be twice as good technically to warrant a place and at present he just isn't. Please for heavens sake get a centre half to partner Edgar so we can have Basham and a Doyle Type in midfield. For too many seasons we've tried to play good football we just need to win games I don't care wether its scrappy hard fought 1-0s. we just need to be more aggressive .
