No two Academy/Training sites have the same "geography". So each one will have it's own problems in keeping a bubble, a space, a zone for the first team. Heaven knows there's enough pissing around at Shirecliffe on different days. Lots of people have moaned about games called off for Covid. So ... I felt it was not on to try and Blag in. I'm happy to play my part.

Hoodie pulled up over head, fingers in ears, rocking in their chair, all whilst telling themselves 'it didn't happen... It didn't happen.... United bastards...' over an over again....

They work on the basis that if they collectively tell themselves something happened enough times I. E. regular 50,000 plus attendances back in the 70s and 80s at they sty, then it really did happen. Likewise, if they sit with their trotters covering their pink little Piggy ears and oink enough times that something didn't happen, then it really didn't. Mass delusion. If Captain Smith had been a Pig fan, then they would have convinced themselves that the Titanic didn't sink on its maiden voyage and had in fact gone on to be a commercial success for the nest 50 years... Sad twats.

About 3 years ago we sent a team of virtually all U18s to play their U23s at the Chan Siro. They included overaged multi-million pounds signings Joao and Abdi and won 2-1. There were several pages on their board claiming the worm had turned on our "famous academy"
