He may be back in the prem before us:confused:

Middlesbrough are set to sign former Sheffield United striker Danny Webber, BBC Tees understands.
The 27-year-old is believed to have rejected an approach from Championship side Swansea City in order to agree a deal with the Teessiders.
Webber began his career at Manchester United but moved to Watford after just four first-team appearances.
He then spent three seasons with the Hornets before sealing a swap-deal to Sheffield United in 2004-05.
Boro boss Gareth Southgate has already signed striker Leroy Lita after his release by Reading, and with Tuncay linked with a move to Stoke, and Afonso Alves and Mido seeking moves away, Southgate is keen to bolster his striking options.

I like Webber, but when you have Lita - I don't see the need in signing Webber.

Agreed. Much as I liked Webber, he has turned into a slow version of Adrian Littlejohn.

Bearing in mind that he's been a professional footballer for 10 years, is it unreasonable to expect that he could have added another 'trick' to his trademark 'feint left, then jink inside'? What do they do all day..?

Au contraire. You forget his trademark pass the ball to the keeper when your own player is stood in acres of space manoeuvre. If Ronaldo had mastered that just think what he'd be worth?

Why change something that worked a lot of the time?

It would be a good move for united and webber as he needs revitalising after the last couple of years and he's only going to rot in the researves with united, it seems a while since Webber had a good game but remeber how he used to be: 4-0 at Leeds he was awsome that night!
