Too early to say yet might look stronger with Souttar in there .. the full backs however look more like wingbacks to me, I think we are going to see a lot of teams running at us with wingers

We played well ? I say we did not. Moments of the game we were great but overall poor.
Which bits were we great ? Bearing in mind we were playing absolute shyte oposition and playing em with 10 men for a good while !

What’s up with our fans? One minute everyone says “it’s gonna be a good season, we will push to get promoted after that Preston performance” and then after todays game people are throwing their toys out the pram 5 minutes after kick off I don’t get it. Give it a rest ffs
Because he couldn't do fuck all last season and as soon as a side come at us he's no clue what to do. Anel RB tells u everything u need to know about his decisions oh and add JLT the captain to that. That's what's up with our fans they see a useless clobber who throws it long rushes into tackles can't control a ball but runs around an he's the player of the season. FML

We are a mid table side and 9/10th is where we’re at anyone that thinks otherwise is having them selves on.

We’ve played two games. Kept a clean sheet in the first one and got 3 points away from home.
Too early to be talking league finishing positions. They need time to gel and with players to come in, I think they’ll be ok personally

Had we held on to 2-1 we'd be third

Way too early to know how well go on still got 12 new players to bed in

What annoys me is this endless problem .playing 10 men....its like we've been punished instead of the opposition.

But middlesboro lost at Derby so it shows there no rhyme or reason in this division...they were awesome at leeds but flat today

Played 3 and unbeaten still some things to sort but still a lot ot games to get an identity

Two games in, lets not meltdown just yet 😂

I get this, but also we’re on 4pts from 6 but sit on 2 in the table due to hamstringing ourselves before a ball is kicked.

We can’t afford to throw away point in games like this as there’s much harder to come, and today we’ve thrown away a strong chance at all 3.

Attention seeking again,,,,still think you're a pig fan.

Instead of taking about it...why not put your money where your mouth is. It will make the season interesting.
I say we are guaranteed to finish top 8....the top section of the table....and confident we'll be top 6.

Do want to bet?...giving the money to this website who will be able to confirm it.
and I'll keep reminding you through the lesson. What about betting £50, the loser gives a £50 donation to this website?

However word of warning I've done this thing before and always won the bet.
Sadly everyone I've done a bet with hasn't paid up and has then disappeared from the site.

In a macabre way, we needed that. Both the Preston and Wrexham games, despite the wins, showed how fragile the defence is. We need to be so much better without the ball.

Definitely not the performance we wanted to see today, and plenty to work on, but my god it's fucking feast or famine on this forum.

We're either Champions League in 2 seasons or back to back relegation candidates.

My personal opinion is we've made some decent additions, which of course needs to be proven on the pitch, and I suspect there's not too many championship teams we'd want to exchange squads with if we could.

Performance was undoubtedly disappointing, but we're not going to dominate teams every week and win 4 or 5 nil.
Burnley are?

Too true. What a fucking laughable thread,

It's the same reason as last season , we don't have a leader. !!!!

Look at the past teams, There's no one like Joe Shaw or Eddie Colquhoun, in fact we haven't had a true leader on the pitch since we lost Jack O'connell .
Little wonder the team lost it's way and it's hart last season.
Every time we scored the defence went to pieces, and let two in. .
How many people know who the captain is now ?
All the team needs is a proper on the field leader and the sooner Mr Wilder sorts it the better...

Piss poor second half
I have read plenty of comments on this thread. I take a balanced view. I can understand those that say it's not time for bed wetting, but I must admit 2-0 up at home against QPR and drawing with that 2nd half performance is disappointing. I could understand if this was last year's squad leaving subs so late. However, there is an argument that the talent at Wilder's disposal on the bench meant there should have been some subs earlier in the 2nd half when QPR started to take control. At the end of the day Anel and Robbo were part of a defence that leaked goals for fun last year. I don't see the point in the long running saga to get Cooper and then he is the reserve goalkeeper today. Souttar should be in the starting 11.

I get the impression that Wilder likes to make a point. Which is funny, because that what we got from the game.

Better opposition awaits in this division so let's hope the team gels. Whether that happens or not is on Wilder and his staff.

I can understand the frustration of some because this is an all too familiar tale. What makes this worse, is that this squad, is probably better than the squad that started the premier league campaign.
